I'm originally from the Philippines... and am still here! Haha! I think I get most responses from the Philippines in the afternoon (Philippine time, +8 GMT) and more responses from everywhere else at night :)

It's super hot. Last Christmas season, the weather was unnaturally cool and now we're getting the exact opposite - summer is extremely hot. There is very little traffic in Manila right now because of the Holy Week :) however, it's really tough traveling back to the provinces because of everyone coming home for the long weekend (Thursday and Friday were declared as holidays weee!)

I was originally born in CA, and then raised in IL, and moved around a bit but now living here in the Seattle area for the last 13 1/2 yrs. From the Phillipines to CA is a trek and I am sure you miss some of the things from there I would imagine for sure?

Yes KrauseHome, I miss not only some, but everything about the Philippines! That's why I am planning to go back this coming October for a vacation, but it will still depends if I could save enough money for my fare! hehe! it's kinda hard to save money with this kind of economy.

Yes, corona. It was a big adjustment for me to move from the Philippines going here to California. We totally have different cultures from you guys. From the foods, to the people, to places. It's really hard to move away from home.
So you're from New York? I've been wanting to go there. So how is it different from Georgia? When did you move from NY to GA? Any hard adjustments on your part?

Hi maiyhenzkee! I am from Scotland originally, but emigrated to Australia a long time ago, and am still here. It was a huge change for me, but I know I made the right choice. It's beautiful here and I love it.
How did you come to move from the Philippines to California? Quite a big change for you too.

I live in tropical Queensland in Australia; it really is beautiful here.
I have tried other parts of the world, lived in Florida, USA for 3 years, Germany for 2 years, Singapore for 2 years, but I have found nothing to compare with Australia - it's home to me, although I still hold my birthplace of Scotland very dear to my heart!

Hi Abbey! The whole family's petitioned us by my father who stayed here for 10 years. Yup, it's really tough for me to adjust, I actually got really depressed when I first came here. I worked for 6 months then go back home! haha! I went back after 4 months, this time together with my mom and two brothers.
So how's everything there? Which part are you from? Have you been here in US also?
