Thongs or ordinary panties ?

I suppose this one will primarily be for the ladies but I suppose anyone with information may join in. Sorry to be all up in your business ladies and if you feel uncomfortable then don’t answer but I have been curious .
Now I have seen these thongs (when they are being sold in the shops and like when I am in the bus and the strings ride up above ladies pants ...I assure you am no pervert lol) and as far as I can see they are basically just a few strings ,now my question is 'are these things really comfortable ...I personally cant imagine myself wearing one based on what I see but then I have never and will never so that’s why I am asking.
I get the feeling that many women think they make them feel sexy ,is this true and do these benefits to ones self confidence worth the sacrifice to comfort or is it more comfortable than it looks ? Just a few questions to satisfy my curiosity ...twisted as it may be lol

Well I'm a lady and I've never worn them myself, to me they don't look comfortable, who wants to wear something that is up your butt all day, you spend most of the time digging it out, thats what I would be doing anyway...lol. Some people probably enjoy wearing them, I myself can't see why. Maybe you'll get a better answer than I gave, someone with experience with them..Have a good day

Well this is as good as any answer i have gotten.I have never worn one but i think the issue of digging it out would be very real based on the material that i am seeing and the area that it has to go .Nevertheless maybe one day they will make one that is more comfortable and more to your liking.Thank youfor your answer

Ever since I never wear thongs. I just can't imagine how you will comfortable in wearing that. I love jeans and I don't think that would be okay to be match up with thongs, it should be the ordinary style. With regards to confidence, that will not work on my side. The more I will be irritated and conscious in walking or in roaming around, in the workplace or when I am in the mall. I totally disagree on thongs. Haha! Sounds bitter? Yes! I am so so not on that.

I prefer thongs for my girl cause it looks so sexy. Cause if she'll just wear panty, it feels like it's just so ordinary. At least with thong, we can be more creative and have a lot of fun compared to panty wherein we will just have to pull it out at the beginning.

ronnyb, u are not a pervert or twisted, u are just curious & there's nothing wrong w/that. personally i've wondered the same. i would think they were very uncomfotable . i have never worn one & never will , one would get lost on my fat little body. lol. i have an awful picture in my mind of having to have one surgically removed to find it. lol. happy easter ronnyb.

Personally, i prefer thongs/gstrings for the ladies. It's sexier than ordinary panties although sometimes i get tired of thongs too. I'm quite aware that it's uncomfortable for some women to wear thongs but i also think that thongs have important uses too like to hide pantylines especially when ladies wear slacks. I still think it's primary use is for seduction.

I used thongs before when I'm wearing a thin pants, skirts dress that will show the panty line, basically to look sexy and desirable, i think. But i feel so uncomfortable wearing thongs so i stopped after a while. Now, i rather wear old style panty, sometimes they call it your "grandmother panties".
I remember some of my boss and associates talked about those girls who wears thongs and panties, when they're having smokes down the bldg. They were making fun of those girls who wear the old style panty. So maybe for other girls also, for them not to be talked about, they will wear thong most specially when they wearing thin clothes.

I am comfortable to wear thongs and it makes me feel sexy, feminine, beautiful chick and gorgeous. I remember the first time that I wear thong, it was quite difficult for me because I'm not comfortable with it but I tried as much as I can until that I feel comfortable. Now I always wear thong and I think it makes the woman more feminine and sexier to wear than those with ordinary panties. I only wear ordinary panties whenever I have my monthly period.

lol - nice post :) I have both thongs and regular panties and ladies boxers... I love to try various types of underwear. There are different types of thongs - some strings are thinner than others and I feel that the thinner ones are more uncomfortable. Then there are the ones that are a bit wider and can fit very nicely. I don't wear them everyday but yes when I wear them I have that feeling of being more sexy (maybe it's just a feeling). I love wearing them under dresses because the panty line wont show.

lol you are welcomed ,I will try to continue post such as this.It was very informative though ,for instance I didnt know ladies had boxers and I didnt know the range of strings they were I thought that all had small strings of the same size.Thank you for your response

I call them ladies boxers, maybe they are called something else in other countries and by other persons :) Usually they are made of lycra and are tightfitting. Some of them are also made of cotton, but the lycra ones are better for me

Lol why does everyone keep saying fat ppl shouldnt wear them ..I think I have seen some fat ppl in them but to each is own.Oh and I think I understand what youare saying about keeping you your you know waht devoid of CERTAIN foreeign invasion lolololo happy pantying then....but keep an open mind you never know when one may come in handy lol

From what I've heard, they can be very comfortable. I know a lot of women wear them so you don't see pantylines on their tight fitting clothes. When I wasn't so fat I had a pair that were actually comfortable, but I didn't have much reason to wear them. I'm a panties kinda girl myself.

I used to like thongs esp for wearing dress pants or something you dont want a panty line showing. However i find that if you gain a bit of weight they tend to give ya a major wedgie and I'd rather not have that. I found that my weight fluctuates a bit too much these days for them to be comfy all the time.
if they fit and you dont gain weight they are actually comfy.

I have never tried wearing them either. I cant imagine it. I love to wear sarongs and long skirts/dresses. Mostly sarongs. I have discovered a love for boxer shorts. I feel so free with them on. and sexy. I told another female friend about this and she suggested no unders at all. Hummm she was right. Non at is is much better than boxers. Love to be free to get plenty of fresh air.
