Did you know where assassins came from...???

I accidentally read few pages of secret society book and i read that assassins really originated in India. Assassins were made in order to fight the Christian Jews by having the assassins disguised and directly kill head of the Jews. It is also said that assassins kill themselves after they complete the mission. Does anybody knew it...???

I read a long time ago that they were Islamic and from Turkey, that they used to smoke hashish and then go out killing all infidels which of course (to them) is Jews and Christians and all of the western world who do not convert to Islam.

I don't know if they do now, but they did.. I think it's tied up with the word assasin.. hassasin.. (I think).

It is what I meant. But, correct me if I'm wrong, they don't really use much of those smoke things....

Actually, a Persian Islamic group.... The term 'Assassin' derives from the Persian word Hashshashin (Ar: ?????? \ ????? ????????),[2] a militant Ismailite Persian sect, active in the Northern parts of Iran (Alamut) from the eighth to the fourteenth centuries. This mystic secret society killed members of the Abbasid and Seljuq élite for political and religious reasons.

Yeah, i read about it too. Well, i heard that the first time they have been knows is when they killed a Christian leader by disguising themselves as monks... Thanks for you point...
