when my youngest son was small we were sitting on the couch one night talking. i really don't remember what we were talking about. it's been a long time ago since he is grown w/a family of his own. out of the clear blue he says mom back during the civil did y'all have so & so. i couldn't help but laugh because he was serious. i told him son, u aren't going to believe this but mom wasn't even born when they had the war. do your kids think u are that old??lol

My kids say they did not ever think of me as particularly old person, like older than dirt. I never had that type of an experience.

LOL. That is funny. My daughter has asked us questions along the same line also. They just do not realise how long ago those things occurred LOL.

Your son is cute in asking you that question. He might have forgotten that his mom is only 20 or a little more than that older than him. I have that impression also about my son. Though he is not married yet but he thinks that I am already an old woman as he keeps buying all those supplements for me which I don't really need as I am as tough as a bull. No old age body aches yet but maybe he thought I need those stuff to make me strong so I don't turn into a 'C'.

he may think you are old but he is sweet to care about u like that. i was 18 when i had my first son & 38 when i had my 2nd one. my oldest thought i was old so i was pretty sure my youngest would think i was ancient & he did. civil war makes u pretty ancient. lol. thanks for responding.
