i just lost my cat yesterday and i swear he is haunting me lol.. i know it is too soon (or at least i thought) but i cant explain wtf is going on.. i and all my pets (so every breathing living being in the house) are in one end of the house in the bedroom and things start crashing in the living room and i go out there and papers and cds are all over the floor.. now i have just cleaned this room and i heard it happen while no one was in there! i clean it up and turn around to leave and papers just fly off a shelf and scatter all over the floor! no not the ac blowing either.. wtf?!? i know in the past my other black cat that died i would feel her getting into bed while i was falling asleep.. i would feel her crawling around and i would hear her (she had a bizarre meow that only i have heard from her) so have you ever been haunted by a pet?

coincidentally.. just recently. but i dont use the word "haunted" its more of a visitation. i look at haunted as something along the lines of poltergiest er summat, and thats no fun LOL well it is, but in a totally different way mylittle sprite lost her bestest friend just last weekend. theyd been together since they were both babies, she was 1 and he was 6 weeks. she just turned 9 on the 14th and he had always stayed by her side. as you can well imagine, she was devestated by the loss. the kitty.. named Rogue.. has been.. or i think he has anyways.. been around alot since his passing. every now and then i catch sight of him out the corner of my eye.. or hear his meow, which same as yers.. was rather distinctive. he isnt doinganything like yers tho (if its the cat o.O ) hes just still.. stayin by her side

No can't say that I have. Interesting what you wrote there. I do remember seeing a movie, where the child was telling her parents that the cat was in the room. No one believed her. Until they saw things move. Take care, have a nice evening.

Thinking... Wait, I remember, it was not a movie movie. It was the x-Files. I think it is called. There they let you see small movie's of paranormal activity's. But, not all of them are true. At the end of the movies, they tell you what one's were true and what ones were fiction. This one about the cat, was true. That is why I remember it so well. Everyone was thinking the child was in Trauma because she missed her cat. But the cat was really there. Do you get the x-files there too? Take care, have a nice evening.

Wow... sounds like a case of "phantom pet". (I just made that up.) Actually, you may know about "phantom pain" when a person loses an arm or leg but can still feel the pain in them, or itching, or any other sensation they used to feel. The same can be happening with your cat... your brain simply hasn't accepted it yet. But, it IS strange that things are flying all over the place! Get T.A.P.S. in there to do some ghost hunting! LOL Just kidding, but, you never know! Maybe your cat hasn't realized she's gone yet. You just never know. Oh, and no, I've never been haunted by a pet.

Hi moonlitmagikchild. Sorry to hear of the passing of a beloved pet. It is always hard to lose one of our furry friends. We have three cats and two dogs and I would love the idea of them haunting me and in effect still with us. A ghost cat or dog would be kind of cool too

First.... I'm sorry for your loss. I know it hurts. But the pain has passed. It isn't too soon and it may have just been Kitties way of saying Bye I love you. Backdraft was my first kitty as a mom. My ex beheaded the little guy with the car. Broke my heart into a zillion pieces. But with in a few days odd things would happen. I swore I saw him come down the hall. I would hear the pans in his favorite cupboard move like he had snuck in there again. I was forever chasing him out. It lasted till I moved. Yeah... the cat can come back... the very next day... sometimes they just can't stay away.

I can't say that I have, but my last cat would chase away any other cat, ghost cats not excepted and with as many as seven cats in the house at one time in the past and four now, a few additional ghost cats'd probably not be noticed. At least I'd not have to feed them! I do sometimes see one of my cats react as if they had seen something, but there has been nothing there. So who knows... There's certainly been enough cats die in this house over the last 60 - odd years for an army of feline ghosts.

yeah with that many cats already it would be hard unless it happened in a separate room with everyone in another one to know if it was a ghost or not

Sorry to hear about your cat. I had a little bunny which passed away 6 months ago. I could feel her coming and sleeping in my arms when I was in bed, unfortunately just for two days. May her soul rest in peace!

Sorry to hear your loss. "Haunting" is not the ride word. I think more blessed to have her spirit with you.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. A year and a half ago, my dog, Tiki, passed. He and I were inseperable. I know that he wasn't ready to go because our neighbor hit him with her car. He suffered a broken leg, and when he was in surgery, his heart stopped. They said that it was a mixture of shock from the accident and the anestesia. Anyway, for quite a while after that day, I would see him out of the corner of my eye. I would feel him sleeping in the bed behind me. My other 2 dogs would start chasing absolutely nothing, and then they would run away from it. (That was a game that the three of them loved to play.) After a while, I finally said goodbye to him and told him that it was time for him to move on. (My great-grandmother also passed, and she needed him worse than me. She was always an avid dog lover.) After that day, he hasn't been back. I think he finally accepted that he needed to go. I know this sounds crazy, but oh well. Have me committed. LOL.
