Would you want this woman to be your mother?

I do not know if you have seen this story or not; but, a 20 year old woman wrapped a dog up in packing tape and then taped the poor thing to the refrigerator because her boyfriend would not get rid of the dog. When he returned and saw his dog taped to the refrigerator, he got into a fight with her resulting in the police responding and rescuing the dog and taking the man and his girlfriend to jail. When they got to the jail the girlfriend was found to be carrying heroin and is now under suspician for selling heroin. Here is a link to this story - http://www.dailycamera.com/news/2009/apr/15/police-woman-dog-cruelty-case-brought-heroin-jail/ and you can easily search for more - they are everywhere. (NOTE - The dog is now safe in a foster home.) But, anyone who is so out-of-control that they would torture an animal because of a disagreement with their boyfriend would do just as bad, if not worse, to a child. Indeed, many child abusers and serial killers start by abusing animals. All I know is that I would hate to have this woman as my mother and be subject to her "anger" while I was a defenseless child.

In a similar case of which I'm aware, a man killed and ate his live in girl friend's dog because it barked too much even after he warned her to keep the dog quiet. He did this to teach her a lesson that when he said something, he meant it and would take action. I asked him what she did about it. He said, "She moved out right away."

I am glad to hear she moved out; but, it doesn't sound like anything was done to him for his actions. A person who abuses animals WILL abuse people also. Many abusive people will abuse another person's pets in an attempt to control the person - if you don't do what I want your pet will suffer. Many people in abusive relationships are afraid to have a pet or even show affection to a stray for fear of what will happen to it. Children are also abused for the same reasons and because they "irritate" the abuser.

This woman has a small dog tht she treats very well. The dog she treated badly belongs to her boyfriend. This woman knows how to treat animals but treated the boyfriends animal badly because she was mad at the boyfriend. If she has a child, we worry that she will treat the child badly if she becomes angry with the father.

yikes nope even if she is, I won't let her go away with abuse she can get rid of the dog easily by taking it to animal shelter, spca or even put an add to sell it if she wants money too doesn't mean it has to be taped to a fridge like that it doesn't make sense I'm glad they found heroin with her too and I hope they will find the suspicion is right I don't know how long she will be in jail for animal abuse but she sure won't get out of jail fast if she is proven guilty with heroin I think it's dangerous to let this type of person out on the street now she abused a dog, later she might abuse humans

Personally, I hope she goes to jail for along time too; but, it wouldn't be forever and then she will be out on the streets again. Maybe her boyfriend will find someone better than her in the meantime. Since this was her boyfriend's dog; I think he still would have been extremely upset if he came home and found out she sold it or gave it away.

Definately NO! Because She Might Not Only Abuse 1 Person or Animal, But, she might do something even Worse Like Threatening if Things don't Go as She expects them to be, More mad, More Mean And Whatever Negative Things That you can Possible imagine....

This is a very scary lady. If she is so cold-hearted she can treat a small dog this badly; she is capable of anything. I would not want to be her child and I feel sorry for any children she may have in the future.

I heard about the story and thought it was horrible. If I was the boyfriend I would have taped her upside down to the refrigerater and see how she likes it. How on earth does someone do this to a defenseless animal. I hope he dumps her!

Obviously, he was upset with her since when he got home and found his poor dog; it caused a "domestic dispute" serious enough to get the police department's attention (but, the dog was still taped to the refrigerator when the police arrived). Whether he dumps her or not will probably depend on which "head" he is thinking with!
