Do you like your friends calling you with a nick name?

Well I like when it is good one. Actually I have multiple nick names. Some are good and some are annoying so I have to show some anger when they call my unwanted nickname. But I am also giving nicknames to my friends I also like teasing them with there annoying nickname.

So far, in our place almost everyone has nicknames, and we are more comfortable with our nicks than our actual long names. My Aiza can transform into Sang, Apple becomes Pongpong, Giovanni becomes Banoy, Geralyn is Geh, Lorena comes Eena. Sometimes the nicks become totally different from the original name and sounds rather funny such as Antit for Francis, or Bugoy for Michael????? Nicks sometimes mark our identity and I appreciate being called SANG because it is less serious, and it sounds cute to me.

It would be ok if someone called me by my nickname. One of the older gentlemen at work was making fun of my legs one day cause they are skinny. He said your legs look like birdlegs. That was my nickname way back in high school. Someone else starting calling me birdie which is ok too. Although I would prefer being called by my first name I wouldn't object if I was referred to as birdie or birdlegs. It's all in fun anyway.

I like to be called by my nickname because it's better sounding, LOL! Really, but of course only my closest friends and students call me by my nickname which is almost endearing and wonderful...

I always like it ... But the actual scene is I dont have nay nick name ... hahahahahha

I like being called with a nickname because it reminds you of the closeness & comfort that my friends share with me & vice versa! It does feel good!

Doesn't matter to me. I feel when my friends call my nickname I feel closer to them. Only when someone is close to you that you approve of them calling your pet name.

Hi forcashksd, I do have a nickname but only my mother used to call me by my nickname and know she has passed so I don't get call by it anymore. Tamara

i like it when my friends call be by my nickname because it makes me feel that we are close enough for him/her to be so comfortable in calling me by it. however, i only have a really few friends but i'm fine with it because i'm pretty much sure all of them are true.=D

oh yes, buy i like calling them by their first name/real name. for a person, hearing their first name is the most special thing in a conversation. i that way also you show respect towards the other person.

Hi there. For me, i don't like to be called by my nick name as much as possible. Its not that good for me to hear especially by the people whom i just met. But its alright when my family or close relatives addressed me by my nickname since i'm already used to them. As for close friends, they can do so except really for the new ones. I get upset everytime a new person call me by my nickname.

A nick name huh, i don't mkind as long as it's something proper or have something to do with my name, as in the real name..Not like glamour names and those stuff...I have been given a name and so i kinda expect to be called what i had been named..You can make it shorter or create nick names form my real name but no glamour names for me...A lot of my friends call me nick names, and it's all good...=]

Hi, It's sound good if some one call you with nick name more familiar, can you imagine if some one call you in full name, while you have very..very long name, it's very need much time to say when you make any conversation :D

I dont have any nicknames personally, and people often ask if i want to be called my full name or the shortened version as i have quite a long name, and i prefer the long version! I guess im fairly formal in that respect - or i just love my name! (Which i do, lol!) My boyfriend tends to get called either his normal first name, but a lot of people refer to him using his surname, and some call him a nickname too, so he varies a lot more than me! I always call him his normal first name though!

I am okay if my friends call me my nickname as they don't call a nickname to make fun of me. In fact we call each other nicknames all the time. It's mostly not a name different from our real name. Mostly is just a short version of it. For example my name is Monica, so my family members would call me Moni and my friends would call me Nica.........it's okay...gotten used to it.
