Illegal aliens are apparently growing tired of Uncle Sam's hospitality and are starting riots. Is this the beginning of the Mexican Revolution on American soil? I think Uncle Sam should bring out the trucks and start packing the whole lot of them back across the border. What do you think? http://michellemalkin.com/2006/03/29/the-american-flag-comes-second/

What upsets me is that when my husband and I went on our Alaskan Cruise, and had to go through immigration because we are Canadians, there were guards in place, searches made so that us horrible Canadians will not take over the States and this was during the last administration where they were at least giving lip service to protecting the borders. Yet down in the south near the Mexican border, the Mexicans can come in illegally and no one goes to try to remove them. Maybe if they take some of the guards who are protecting America from a Canadian invasion and put them down at the Mexican American border they would not have this problem. They should send them packing.

That is a good suggestion. I suspect the reason the Canadian border is so well guarded is because it is an easier job than guarding and keeping out the Mexicans. Canadian immigration not caused the any problems that I am aware of. Sorta like bullying the little kid on the playground in order to look tough. It's a sad state of things.

People have a chance to migrate legally to the USA. If one wants to come live in the USA they must abide by the laws. If they don't want to obey our laws they are criminals.

I agree!!! Why should these criminals enjoy all the benefits they get in our country and yet decent hardworking Americans cannot find work. Ship the illegals out and then they will at least be more job available and our dollars will not get sent back to which ever country they came from.

Currently it seems to be hard for the govt. to identify the illegals as law breakers. Janet Napolitano, the Homeland Security head, says it is not illegal for Mexicans to cross the border. I am hoping the swine flu scare will help the border agents become more skilled in keeping illegals out becauese now everyone has an immediate threat related to the illegal crossings.

I know someone here in the UK. He is a UK citizen but his family originates from Yemen. They have relatives who are legal immigrants living in the New York area. Ali went to new York to visit his uncle and his family and he loved it. consequently he decided to stay longer thn the 90 days he was allowed at that time. He was arrested and deported and barred for 5 years. If the USA can do that to him then they need to do it to all the illegal immigrants who have come across our Southern borders. Ali was asking for nothing financially but these people are bleeding our system dry. I have told him how wrong he was and he realizes that now but why the difference in treatment of illegal aliens. But then what can we expect - our President has an aunt who has been illegal and drawing welfare for 5 years.

The USA needs a uniform system for dealing with all the illegals, whether they are related to government officials or not. Part of the problem is the big companies want cheap labor and they don't have to pay illegals as much as they would have to pay American workers. How sad since American workers are so in need of jobs and our ecomomy is virtually imploding because of corporate greed.

Its been made too comfortable for them. The US has become the home away from home for many of them. They don't need to learn the language because it's on all the packaging. Just about every business call has options for Spanish. They get jobs where their work performance is ignored no matter how shoddy it is and from what I've seen, it's all shoddy. Are they all bad? No. I know one lady who lives here with her sons. She works hard and does a good job. Whether she's here legally or not, I don't know but I do know she pays taxes (most don't) and while she doesn't speak English her sons do. They have also been on their mom to learn.

I agree the USA has made it too comfortable for the illegals. If Uncle Sam had not rolled out the red carpet so quickly for those lawbreakers they would not now be trying to take over his castle. The USA has required no accountability from the majority of them.
