Are you able to reach payout every month?

Are you able to reach minimum payout in mylot every month? This is my third month in mylot. The first month is not a full month and I was not able to reach payout. Last month was my second month in mylot and I was able to reach the minimum payout. As I did not have any active referrals, and I did not do tasks, all the earnings are from discussions and photos. It is ironical that I have 7 referrals, not a single of them post a single comment. This is my third month here, still $1.80 away from payout. Should be able to reach the minimum payout by the end of the month. What about you? How long have you been here? Are you able to reach payout every month? How do you earn money in mylot?

I have been here two years and this is the fifth month that I have reached payout before the middle of the month. No active referrals and only 4 tasks at 20 cents each. Reaching payout is all about being active. I have had less hours at work since the beginning of the year and have been at home, mostly here on myLot keeping out of mischief and not spending money but earning it I have just started my third discussion this month but I have spent a lot of time commenting backwards and forwards with friends on discussions about so many different topics and I have had a lot of fun. So much fun that I was never aware that what I was doing was actually earning so much - which is what makes myLot such a great place to be!

Uhm that was not quite what I said. I have had MANY more than 5 payouts in 2 years BUT these last 5 months I have reached payout before the middle of the month. This means that the least 5 months I have reached double the payout each month - got it now?

Oh sorry, mysdianait, sorry to misunderstand your sentence. So this month you are making more than $20? Congratulations! Hope all the newbies can learn from you. I guess the fun of the discussion really make earnings look easy. I am quite happy with $10 every month, even though I do envy you for making $20. Hope you can break your personal record.

Hi Mysdianait, haha you are really funny, only 5 payouts in 2 years! I login every day but not setting aside any time solely for mylot. The lowest daily earning is just 1 cent, and never reach $1. Sometimes when I have nothing much to say, I just upload some pictures while checking my email. The payment system in mylot is to encourage longer post, so I try to stretch my words, make longer sentence to earn more. Hope you can reach payout more frequently.

Your response sounds just like mine. I can do it if I'm consistently on here, but having a hard time lately finding time with other things that I'm involved in. I'm going to try to get here more often though because I really do enjoy Mylot.

Hi Rusty and Guss, agree that earning consistently is much better than to relax for half a month, then to post a lot at the end of the month. i missed a few days earlier this month, since I was away, then not very active for a few days this month, the lowest earning was less than 10 cents, so these few days, I posted a lot to make the payout. It's a pity to give up with less than $2 and a week till the end of the month. I guess the worst situation is to reach $9.99 on the last day of the month.

No, I am not able to reach payout every month. $10 is a big amount and you have to spend lot of time on your computer. It is not possible for me as I have many other jobs to do. How much time you are spending here to reach payout in a month's time?

Hi Kishusia, I login almost everyday, but do not spend a solid hour commenting and posting. I will do other work, every now and then check to see if there is any interesting discussion going on. Some days earned less than 10 cents, and the highest is 80 cents, I have some photos to upload, so probably that adds a bit of earning too. Anyway I post longer comment, much longer than 3 or 4 sentences, in this case, I will earn more even if the total number of posts is less than other mylotters.

I'm not able to reach payout every month either, I have so many other things I need to do too, I try to get on here at least once a day but some days I'm too busy. It is hard to reach your payout, it usually takes me about 3 mos. to reach mine..lol.

I have been a member of mylot for a long time and have never received payout...I have to admit I haven't been around much lately, but I got annoyed at how long it takes to make a small amount of money on here & couldnt' be bothered anymore. I have decided to give it another try and am trying to post so I can reach payout this month but I don't think I will make it.

I don't think I have ever been totally inactive for 3 months, I just don't seem to get paid much for my postings. I am going to have to try and make everything longer and see how I go, but the way I am going now I should easily make payout by the end of May. I really must get here everyday and post as much as I can. Thank you

Hi Toosh, you have reached more than 400 postings. Most people reached payout before 400 posts. Have you been inactive for longer than 3 months? Hopefully your earnings are not deducted. Actually making payout is not difficult, if you maintain the length of the post, or make it even longer. Try to aim for payout by end of May, you can make it once you write longer post to every discussion thread that interest you.

in mylot we should be more active to earn more money, for me i don't have much time to be more active, so my account until now is just $0.37, i became member of mylot since a month ago.so i think i wouldn't get my minimum payout this month.

Hi thejuice, I hope you can reach payout soon. Having the first payout really makes you happy. Actually you can maximise your time here. When you do not have the time to surf the discussion thread, just check those discussions in your interest groups, then write very long comments to the post. One long post can earn you a lot of money, much more than a lot of very short post. Next month is a longer month, I think if you can make a few reasonably long posts every day, you can earn more than 30 cents per day, and reach payout by the end of the month.

Hi Sharla, most of us earn purely from discussion. But we do not post such short message. It is a waste of time just to post one or two sentences per post. Mylot system rewards people for making long lengthy post. Even if you do not have much to say, try to make your posts at least five lines long. There are some mylotters who come in only after the middle of the month. They post very long thread, as long as a short story. Some of them write peom under "writer" or "writing" interest. That is one way to earn and to invite people to offer their expertise.

Thank you so much for the suggestions/ I also read other peoples comments on this so this should help me also. I am also going to go and find some interest that I am interesting in so then I might have more to talk about. I only get 1 cent a day usually but now I am going to start trying to write more on every comment I make and see if I can make more.

Even if I miss making the payout due to a Busy life, I can still say I truly enjoy being a member here. Wishing you the Best.

Hi Krause, I agree that mylot is very enjoyable place. The earnings is a bonus. Not many people are determined to reach the minimum payout every month. It takes a lot of time and sounds like hard work when mylotting becomes a money making affair. I just hope that my friends can join me here, both to help me make money and to enjoy their time here. After all, most of them like to surf net, might as well be paid for it.

I try to get to my cashout each month, but sometimes it's hard. Between real life off the internet and work....it can be difficult. But this is what I try to do if I cannot make cashout one month I know I will the next so I try to make up for it as much as possible. And the tasks help. I just had a 2.00 one approved and another 2.00 one I need to revise for approval. So if I get this done within this week I should be close to make up for my shortfall of last month.

Hi Taface, glad that you managed to earn from your task. Most of the task available when I log on were those 20 cents task, not worth the effort to do research just to make 20 cents. I rather make a lot of comments and make 20 cents from posting. Anyway, the income from mylot is just a sweetener, if you can afford more time, well and good, if not, rest and relaxation is more important.

Hello again scheng1!!! Well as for now, I am already here for four months I haven't reached the payment for the single time yet. I was not very much active for more than three and half months and only on these last twelve to thirteen days, I have made over 5$. I had about 2. something $ carried from the previous month, and now and I am only 2.5$ away from the minimum payout. And within these days, I have realized that if gave a little bit more time here on mylot, then I have the potential of reaching payout every month. I have to say you are more active than me and you have more potential than me. You have good quality of posting, I know, I have read some of them and got really impressed. Like you I also have about three referrals but none of them have made a single post here yet. It's very difficult to get an active referral for mylot, because only those who have some real interest in discussion remains in mylot. Others quit mylot soon after two or three days, knowing that they cannot earn much from this site. And it takes so much effort for us to reach the payout. And every single cent seems to be valuable here because we earn them with lot of investment of our time. Don't you think so? For a single cent we have to write about five to six lines... Keep mylotting Scheng1...

Hello again Scheng1!!! I am getting so much problem with the notification mails. I didn't get notification mail for this comment too. I don't know what is going on with mylot or this is just in my case. I enjoy your discussion and head back to this one by myself and got your response already. This notification email is really imposing a problem for me. Any way, I hope it will be solved soon. And thank you very much Scheng1. I had not thought of that idea. I just thought hyaa...there is not worth telling them and because they would not join. Yes as I said there are three referrals here, they were my friends but didn't really try it. And now I have to do it when I will get the payment. And I am sure they will surely join. Yeah...money speaks. And moreover to get the friends in this community will add up the taste to mylotting. Don't you think so? And about associated content. My last article got rejected, the one I had on my website. It says that I haven't leaved one line after each paragraph and also says correct your grammars. Do you need to correct each and every grammar before submitting to associated content? I was just so sad that mine article was not selected. And as my exam is nearing, in fact, from tomorrow I have the exams. So I am leaving the associated content aside. After my exam, I will be using associated content and I will surely post the pictures of Nepal. Sorry, If I make you wait for that.... Keep mylotting...See you again and again....

Hi Nzal, I believe once you get the first payout, you will have a lot of active referrals among your college friends. Money does talk, and US$10 in your country is a lot of money. But you must show the money before asking them to join. And to add a bit of spices to the $10, you might tell them that so many people earn more than $10 a month. After you have a few very active referrals, you can make a lot more than $10 without doing much work. The money comes in useful, and I find that my typing speed increases. Thanks for reading my posts. I really yours too, and hope to learn more about your beautiful country. By the way, suggest that you take a lot of pictures of your beautiful country, upload here and upload the picture in Associated Content.

Hi Jessica, most of us are able to make more than 34 cents a day. Guess what is the trick? You have to learn to make longer comments. For example, you post one-liner to this discussion, you are not able to earn much even if you post 100 one-liners. If you make a comment that is long, you can earn much more from that single post. So the best is to find out your interests and join the discussion thread there, once you are passionate about the topic, you can talk and talk nonstop about it and make money.

Hi Fasyahime, are you joking? You have more than 389 posts and you only make $1.48? I would guess that you make the first payout for last month. Do you make a lot of short comment, those with one or two sentences? If so, please stop that, not worth your time to type just one or two sentences. Make it longer, as long as possible, so that you make lesser posting and able to make more money. Hope you can reach payout in May.

Hi Tolits, judging from the responses to this thread, there are many mylotters who are able to get minimum payout every month. They are having a lot of fun here. As long as you have fun, and you have a lot interest groups which you participate regularly, you will be able to reach payout soon. It is not as hard as you think. Even if you have nothing much to say, you can upload some photos here and let the photos earn money for you.

Hi Xcapex, welcome to mylot. When you are new, you spend a lot of time exploring the site and read the different thread. Once you get use to the discussion forum here, you are able to zone to those of your interests and take post longer comments. Try to make every post three times as long as this response that you have made here, you will notice that your earnings increased. If you are able to maintain a constant 37 cents a day, you can reach payout every month.

Hi billygoines, welcome to mylot. Please try to make longer postings. At least 5 to 7 lines, if you can make longer posts like article length, you can reach payout every month. In mylot, the number of postings is not as important as the length of every post you make. The system is to encourage people to make reasonably long and meaningful comment. It is no use posting just "ok", "Agree" or short sentence. Take a look at some of the posts in this thread, there are some mylotters able to make more than $20 a month, and they do give nice tips. Hope you enjoy yourself and reach payout soon.

Hi Ratyz, not many people aim to reach payout every month. Frankly speaking, the payout here is not as much as submitting article to some writing sites. I will be more disappointed if I miss the payout in Helium than here. At least my articles in Helium earn passive income, even on days that I do not submit anything there. However, able to get payout from different sites per month does add up to a nice sum of income.

haha sizidni, I think you can aim to reach payout every Christmas. I hope you can active at least once in every 3 months, so that your accumulated earnings are not confiscated by mylot. I do not do task too, I find it's a waste of time. The payment for writing 4 paragraphs about some unknown brand is just $2. If I have to do research and write about it, I might as well post somewhere else to earn more than $2.

I never make pay out because I don’t have time to even log in everyday usually. I also don’t have time to upload pictures either I don’t think. Do you have to find one off the internet and save it to your computer? That seems like a lot of work but who knows. I would like to try some tasks but Don’t think I will ever have that kind of time. Too many projects.

Hi Csrobins, I upload those pictures that I take with my digital camera. Actually you are not allowed to post photos that you do not own the rights. It's quite easy to just take pictures of your surroundings, maybe a book, maybe your garden, a tree or whatever, then upload to mylot. Nobody knows how the photos can make money, but they do help to increase the earnings. Tasks are not always available, and may not be approved even if you submit it. The best way is still to post long comment and post regularly to reach payout every month.

Hi, agree that doing tasks can be very time consuming, not worth the effort for making just a few cents or even a dollar or two. If I do need to do research on a subject, I rather write a longer article and submit to Helium or Associated Content to make more money. At least the passive income from page view is more than the payout from the task. Hope you reach payout soon! Even though the money is not that great, the happiness of receiving money still worth the effort.

Hi Cyrus, since you are fortunate to live in the States, you are eligible for upfront payment from both Helium and Associated Content. There is a trick to this. First, sign up for Helium at www.helium.com and browse the title, find a title that you are confident of writing. Read those articles in the title, the best is to choose a popular title with as many articles as possible. Read the first few, the middle few and the last few. Write your article. It doesn't matter if your idea is not original. What counts is not your writing, but how your readers feel. DO NOT submit the article to Helium. Then, sign up for Associated Content. Submit your article to Associated Content as www.associatedcontent.com select the non-exclusive option. Wait for Associated Content to approve your article. You will earn upfront payment from AC. You may choose a different title to entice readers to read. Once AC approved your article, submit the article to Helium. In this case, you earn upfront payment from both side. If AC does not approve your article, you can choose Display Only and post in Helium for upfront. You can also submit to www.constant-content.com to sell the article. You can charge as much as $100 for selling full rights, and that means you no longer can post the article anywhere.

Hi Ingridrepi, most of us joined mylot before they start the tasks, so most of us are comfortable with actively participating in the discussion. The tasks are not regularly updated and recently there is not any task available. Maybe you can start commenting on the discussion and make some money out of it. Try to make longer post and take part in those discussions that you are interested in. In this case, you are sure of making the minimum payout regardless of the tasks. If you are able to have all your tasks approved, that will be a greater bonus.

Hi Ben, welcome to mylot. If you are able to make comment as long as this one, or even longer, you do not need to worry about making payout every month. The money will accumulate nicely even without your notice. Some people are here on daily basis, and making just a few posts here and there. But they make longer posts, not those short sentences. The system here compute on the length of post rather than the number of postings. Just enjoy your time here, upload photos that belong to you, and make comments when you do have lots of things to say.
