I have a bunch of hair and it is long and very thick, I sometimes feel headache because of it. And the top center of my head is always tired and sore, I sometimes comb and brush my hair backwards makes it feel relaxing. How is your hair?

My hair is thin and fine. However, it comes to below my waist. In order to not be tickled by its softness or hurt by having it in a pony tail, I roll it up in a French Twist or a simple knot.

It is where the hair is twisted, rolled onto itself and pinned back down the length of the head from the crown to the nape.

Hello mermaidivy, I have thick, black hair and it is just about my shoulder length. I used to have long hair before but after having a son, I decided to keep my hair short or not longer than my shoulder. It is easier to take care and I just spend less time for the hair part.

I think I would keep my long hair even if I have kids in the future, hope I'm able to though :-p

Mine is thick and straight and just below my ears. Once it gets to shoulder length it has a mind of its own so I gave up trying to grow it long years ago

I took me a long long time to grow to this length, I have it trimmed couple times last year and now it is not as long as it used to. I will be patient and wait it grow longer and longer again. Thanks for sharing! :-)

If only I were a guy, I would have opted for bald. Some girls don't mind being bald but I do so I won't. I too have long and thick and extra wavy hair. I swear I have had it treated/straightened 4 or 5 times but it goes back to its original state earlier than it's supposed to. It is one of my problems.

haha!! i have my big bunch of hair. My mom have a thick hair and we as children have gone to her side of genes in this case. I have to use more conditioning/shampoos/mousse than others because its difficult to maintain it. so i don't have any problem of hair falls and others.huh!!

I have very long and thick hair. It used to be to my waist. I got it cut January 2008 to my shoulders and it is almost that long again. I know what you mean about your head hurting. I have to wear my hair up at work and sometimes my head aches too. My hair is pretty hard to manage so most of the time it is up.

A month ago I shaved my hair off; completely bald. It has now grown out an inch almost. I like it.

I have baby fine hair which doesn't grow much past my shoulders. A hairdresser once told me that it stops growing because, if it gets too long and heavy, the shaft will fall out.

I also have pretty long hair and it's also pretty thick - and sometimes if it's up in a ponytail for too long it hurts my head. . But thankfully wearing it down doesn't "hurt".
