Ok I have recently noticed a certain user tagging discussions with their own user name. I find this infuriating. Is this actually acceptable? How would you feel if they tagged your discussion with their username?

Its better than the idiot that goes around tagging discussions with troll or this Post reported. Then they hit all the Responders -signs and lower your numbers. There are a lot of lunys out there. Be glad it is just someone trying to get their name noticed. A little ego never hurt anyone.lol Shalom~Adoniah

I also encounter that one. I only have one discussion and I'm asking of "what have you done so far today". That member told me that she just logged in today for the sake that she answered my question, then told me to respond to her discussions too. Then she tagged her username. I was surprised but eventually leave it alone. This morning, when I opened my discussion, her post was erased by the admins plus her tagged name. I guess, she deserves it. :)

Is this bounder breaking the rulebook? If he jolly well is then the cad needs a good caning. What does tagging mean?

I also noticed this. It doesn't really make me angry, I just don't see a point in it I guess. Maybe the people who tag themselves in their discussions assume that it will make them a more known member on myLot because their username will be popping up everywhere.

I've seen that before and that never bothered me. I think some do that because their friends can find then through search of discussions. I've seen that before. If they do it themselves, then they have their own reasons. No sure how I understand why this bothers you so much. Why is that?
