Does it ever depress you that you get no followers on your blog? I have one follower! I have twittered my blog to no avail. I just wish i had a few followers. I am going to be blogging a few times today to add a video and some pics of my craft room. I only have one follower but hope to pick up a few more today. How did you get all your followers? I am on blogspot sweetdesigninc if you want to look it up.

I know this discussion is kinda old but I'm still playing catch-up. I don't understand this 'followers' thing at all. I have two on my main blog but no idea who they are or how I got them... I hadn't posted anything on my blog in almost 6 months :) Last weekend I set it on auto pilot for a few weeks - posted all my AC article teasers and dated them to post one a day :) I don't have to do anything.

I think followers are essential for a blog to succeed lol. I now have 12 followers!! I tweet (twitter) my blog all the time and I follow others in hopes that they will follow me. I am starting a new blog today the launch is today!! It is going to be for handy tips and frugal ideas!!!

Wow from 1 to 12 in 3 weeks that's great. I haven't tried twitter yet I've heard some say it's nothing but a pain in the behind and not worth the effort. I've spent a couple hours now listing all of my associated content articles on delicious. Maybe I'll pop over to twitter and check it out for myself.

I got a few followers from twitter and it has boosted traffic to my etsy shop. No buyers from twitter though which is a shame since I have over 1400 followers on twitter. Now if just a third of them purchased something from me I would have to create create create!! I am on a downward spiral in my moods again. No sales since February and it is getting to me again.

I know the feeling. It's kind of like I feel when I post something at Associated Content and it gets little or no following. I keep thinking that if I post more that I will get more following, but so far it hasn't happened. I'm trying to decide if I want to keep posting or let that one drop.

I take it in stride, I have excellent info on earning online totally for free but I do not get as many visitors as I would like. My goal is to help people out, and not help myself to their wallets. I wish there was a site like mine available when I first started working online, I would have been taken far less. I love your site, it is really neat! I do not get much time to spend online due to personnel shortage right now, so I haven't been able to visit as much as I'd like. I is so competitive online right about now that it is extremely difficult to get visitors, let alone buying customers. The economy has tipped the scales where there are more sellers than buyers it seems. I am just weathering the storm and hoping to survive the bad times. Don't become too discouraged.

I think it is hard for us to choose a nice topic for our blogs ,and we really need sometimes to update the contents of our blogs , both of the two steps are necessary for us to win followers and traffic :)

I find that telling friends and family about my blogs helps get the word out, as they pass it long to others, and I have it on my website too.
