Did anyone here knows the real face of Jesus Christ?

Jesus didn't pose for any picture taking or painting so that nobody knows today how he really looked--not even the pope or any born again bishop or what have you. Not even Da Vinci. What the bible depicts so clearly and accurately are his life and character. These are the stuffs God wants seen in church, not images or statues or rituals about him. Even posters of bible verses and banners of who Jesus is are all useless religious and Pharisaical gimmicks. Some display a BIG bible in front of their altars. That's useless, too.

It seems that nobody thought to paint a picture of him at the time (from life), or at least none has survived. Most of the pictures one sees depict him as a fair haired, light skinned Aryan which must obviously be incorrect, since he was certainly a Jew.

I don't think anyone really knows what Jesus looked like. We only have slight descriptions of how he may have looked from the Bible, and then other people's ideas based on those descriptions. I would like to know what Jesus really looked like and if it is anywhere close to what the artists depict.

Hi MyzDy, remember when the roman soldiers arrested Jesus? when Judas approached Jesus and Kissed Him? Judas have to kiss Jesus so the roman soldiers will know who among the group is Jesus, because His disciples were always together with Jesus that aside for being a jew, they had became alike in physical features, just like when a husband and wife been together for some time they tend to resemble each other...hope this helps :) bless you more.
