If money wouldn’t’ be a problem, what would you like to do right now?

OK, we are often limited by money we can or cannot spend. I ask my best friend what she would like to do and she was not able to give me any answer. I would like to stay at home and work on my art projects. What would you do?

I would love to travel the world, I have always been fascinated with travel, broadening my horizons and seeing other people, other cultures and how other people live from all walks of life, I would go on my own, because I could go where I wanted, do what I wanted and have the freedom of the world at my fingertips. The first stop would be New Zealand, with all the time on my hands too I could see everything there is to be see, I would even hire my own personal tour guide to make sure I missed nothing in each place. I would also go and visit Sweden and Iceland and countries I've only dreamed of visiting. This would be a dream come true for me. I'd be straight on that plane, nothing or no one would stop me!

Yes, I was thinking to take my backpack and travel to different places and work temporarily in different countries just to learn how it is to be away from crowded places...

I would love to go back to my country and travel around the world! That's always been my dream, to travel everywhere but just stay and live in my home country.

This is also my dream! My husband and I dream of the day we can retire. We plan to travel all over the world! There are so many amazing things to see. Right now we dont have the money to do it all. We are too busy making money, so we dont have the time either! If I had the money, I would be booking a plane ticket to Germany today! I would also be getting myself a Eurail pass so that I could travel all over the continent! My first destination would be Berlin. I could probably spend the next year just travelling around constantly, seeing a new city every week! I would, after a while, be craving some time at home. So we would probably break up the trip into several different segments. That way we could still spend time in our own house and our own bed. We would still get to see our families, but also enjoy everything the world has to offer!

I would love to be able to buy my husband a truck and buy us a house. As far as what I would like to do, I would love to read and take a whole lot of pictures, especially at the beach. I would also love to be able to write and to do it just for fun. I would also go back to school. I love learning about almost everything.

Wow, 10 pages of response. I have asked this a couple of times in different ways. but you have got them off the hook. I myself, would travel the world and help others(only those that deserved it though) Not only would I have a lot of fun traveling but I would be able to help so many people. I feel that if you can not answer this question, you have stopped dreaming. And are beginning to enter into depression or maybe "acceptance of what is" is a better way to put it. When you can change your circumstances sometimes with great effort and sacrifice sometimes without. Cheers and Have a great day.

I think I would take my time. If money isn't a problem, then neither are the home bills, so I could spend much longer in places then someone who has to get back to work by a certain time.

First I would buy my hubby his dream car and my giant truck and then we'd go on a road trip with the kids. In my truck of course he's have to wait to drive that itty bitty car. We need to get away from military life and work for a while and just relax us and the kids on the road. I'd also take my best friends with me.

I have lived in the same apt for 25 years and for the last 5 years, I have been disabled and wheelchair-bound. My wheelchair won't go in the kitchen or bathroom. I would like to move to a bigger apt with a bathroom and kitchen big enough so that I can get in with my wheelchair and take a shower and prepare a meal like other people. I can't even get something to eat without asking my aide to get it for me.

If money was not an issue for me, pola, I would retire to a nice little house in the country where I could supply most of my needs through gardening and keeping a few animals. Heaven to me would be having all the time in the world to read as many books as I could get my hands on and living a rural lifestyle!

Hi Polachicago The very firt thing I would do is to take a relaxing holiday to completely reenergize and then I would come back and spend more time with family and friends and completely redecorate and furnish my home and read all the book I intend on reading but haven't found the time to do. Hi polachicago, That is a wise question! I guess I would still donate the money to educate children. Not my own children but to the poor countries who need financial assistance. There are so many children around the world that have no opportunity to go to school. For me education is a right, rich or poor, normal or abnormal children. Poverty may be solved if all countries will help each other through education.

Sort out things at home like look into other things which i have overlooked like pictures which i have not arranged in the photo albums. Look into many things at home which needs repair or things mightbe needed at home. So many things like community projects that will help others and yourself. There are so many things to do whether money is a problem or not a problem. Unless you opt not to do things at all.

If money wasn't a problem. If money wasn't a problem I would like to go to Hawaii and hang out on the beach during the day time and paint pictures of the beautiful sky and ocean. Then at night I would get together with the native people and have a few drinks and try to learn more about their culture. Thanks for posting, this has helped me to dream. Happy Mylotting!

There is some, but they will do the most basic things to help you get buy. There are just so many things out there that would make him function so much better on his own. He is at the age now, where he wants to do things on his own and not depend on waiting for people to do it for him, or until you have time to do it with him.

Wow, that's a good question! Now you've got me thinking, especially since I'm home but not by choice (out of work and broke!). A few things come to mind: 1) devote myself more fully to my education, even if I never get the opportunity to use it 2) spend more time on my photography, and even in the darkroom developing pictures! 3) travel to other places (I missed my yearly dose of New Orleans this year!) That's all I can think of right now, I'm sure I've got more ideas but I'm heading out to help a friend this evening and make a few bucks!

You can't spend 'em without making 'em first! Actually, this promises to be fun--it's been a few weeks since I've seen my friend Mindy, and we can catch up on the ride into the city! But it's a chance to go out--being paid is a HUGE bonus for me!

A friend of mine has a large piece of land with her husband. She takes in strays of all kinds. If I had the money I would give her money to set up a shelter. I know her heart would be so happy if she could do that.

yeah each shelter would require large piece of land among many such a nice person, taking strays in I don't have that big of land and not free of financial problem yet but one day this dream will happen and if I help hubby achieve his dream, he will be busy at it every day he won't even notice my animal shelter and won't have time to even complain about it hahaha two birds with one stone I don't know why I am more concerned about animals than humans...

I don't think I'd get bored. I think I'd work on my incense burners more and macrame more and have a cleaner house. I really really like my quiet little life. I maybe would probably treat my girls to a really cool vacation over the summer. I'm not overly desiring anything as poor as I am so if money weren't an issue...I think the lack of stress over how i'm going to pay the bills would be enough for me to very happy.

That's admirable to not be so greedy. I'd give anything to have my mom back some days, but then I remember that we didn't always get along. Good luck with your incense burners and macramé!
