What would you do if a loved one was at Wesleyan College right now, after such a frightening murder happened? They have named the major suspect who is against Jewish students. That is so frightening. And poor, poor young woman. Would youencourage your loved one to come home. I would be so frightened and most if were Jewish. Sending prayers to all there and to the young woman who was stalked and murdered.

I didn't hear about this murder. How sad for the student's family and friends. I did miss the earlier news so maybe it will be on tonight. Our youngest daughter went to college in our city and lived on campus. A female student was murdered and decapitated. They found her head and made several of the students view a photo of just the head to identify the student. Our daughter called me just hysterical and wanted to leave campus. The police would not let anyone leave campus or come into the campus. It was a nightmare. The fellow who murdered this girl lived in the same dorm as our now son-in-law. Although they weren't friends, our son-in-law knew the very different student who committed the murder. I will never forget this story.

I still have the same avatar. Thought about changing it but changed my mind. One other myLot member has the same avatar but he was going to leave myLot. Guess I have it all to myself! Sure don't understand all the murders whether it be college campus or anywhere else. Violence shouldn't be the name of the game. Peace and harmony is what I'd rather see. Good to hear from you again, carolbee

Make sure the link is activated so you get all emails to your responses. That should get the job done. I'm always notified when someone replies to my discussions.

Hi there, I wish we were notified through email when somebody re-replied. I never know unless I check on here, or someone else posts a reply, so I come back to respond. But love your profile pic. Mine is of course the same too; just don't know why it is a black background for both of us. Hugs

It would really depend on how my loved one was feeling about the incident. If they felt threatened or unsafe then by all means, I'd encourage them to come home but if they didn't then by all means, stay and finish college. I wish people would quit this hating people who are different from us. Gee, we're all different in one way or another because no two people are alike!

Hey you! Great to hear from you again! (I know, I was gone for a logn time!). I remembe ryou had a different profile pic when we became friends. ;o) I think your response was great. Thanks. I just read the artilce, and it is so sad. the police found him, questioned him down, then let him go. But shortly after that, his family reported him to the police, which gave them full reason and belief to arrest him.
