I have never been a seafood person. I have to leave when my mom cook salmon as a kid. I have now 30 and ate fish for the first time last year. I have really been trying to eat better with leaner meat and fish definately fits the bill for that one. We had orange roughy last week and it was actually pretty good! We used some combo spice for fish and some lemon. Very white meat with little "fishy" smell. We baked it and it was good. I prefer baking, I guess, know little about cooking fish. Do you cook fish? What do you use to prepare?

Baking or steaming fish are both good ways cooking it. Just remember that fish cooks quickly and thin fish (like Plaice) or thin fillets will only take a few minutes to cook. It's quite easy to overcook fish, this is something that you'll need to be careful about.

I love fish, particularly salmon. I prepare it very simply by sprinkling salt and an herbal seasoning blend on all sides and then broiling it a few minutes on each side. It's quick and easy and delicious.
