Do you tap your toothbrush on the sink after brushing your teeth?

My co-worker before asked me if I tap my toothbrush on the side of the sink or at the edge of the glass to shake off the excess water after brushing. I wasn't aware of I do that until that day he asked me. Right after that conversation, I formed that habit of tapping my toothbrush on the sink (if I feel it's clean) or when I'm in another place I tap it on my hand instead. How about you? ^^

I don't tap to anywhere actually. I just wave it strongly so that anything clinging to it would at least be gone or I think I just developed that habit. I don't really like to tap it anywhere. I think the same thing happens when you try to wave it off.

I guess it just depends on how strong you wave it off. I can't admit that my hands are always clean so I just try to wave it off as strong as I can, just enough that I could hear it. (^_^")

Don't you wash your hands before or after brushing your teeth? Well, anyway, just wave it off. ^^

haha, yeah. We can't just tap our toothbrush anywhere. Who knows what's on the sink? That's why I tap it on my hand instead. I think it's better if you tap it into something that wave it off. ^^

I dun think i tap my toothbrush on the sink to take off those excess water in it, but rather, i will flip my toothbrush instead.. lol =D I just dun have the habit of knocking things as i find it noisy.. hehe ^_^ BUt my father do tap his toothbrush on the sink though, while my mom and brother does neither of what we do.. lol =D BUt anyway, we are always leaving our toothbrush in a standing position, and water will auto be flowing down without us doing anything much too.. hehe ^_^

haha, hey Kun! Wow, you know your family's brushing habits huh? Are you all sharing the same bathroom? Sometimes when I'm aware or conscious of what I'm doing I know I don't tap. But when I remember that conversation with me and my co-crew, I just tap it just the sake of tapping the toothbrush. LOL

Yes, I do. I tap it on the sink to take out the remaining water. I guess most of us have develop this habit simply because we usually rinse our brush after using it and basically the best way to take out the water is to tap it. But in cases that there is no sink, I just shake it up and down to remove the water.

Hey, walijo.. yeah, it's really funny. I mean, that very day when my co-crew brought it up that's only the time that I got conscious. hehe

Yeah i tap mine on the sink. lol! I don't tap it on the edge of the glass because i'm using a tabo because i wash my face after brushing my teeth. That's my usual routine morning and night. When i'm in another place, i still would tap it in the sink. lol! I guess it's just a habit hard to break.

Yeah, Lakota. I'm looking for other ways to earn more without spending much time. You know passive income. I just remember this question from my head, and made me curious if others remove excess water from their toothbrushes. hehe

Yep. I sure do. I do it to get the excess water out of the bristles before putting it away.

Hi, Stephcjh! Yes, I guess that's a good way of removing the water from the toothbrush and will not attract molds.

Its all the way you think your tooth brush is hygenic or not. I have never tapped my brush anywhere. Instead, I just clean it with my thumb by moving my thumb a little over my tooth brush and always keep my tooth brush in its cap. To keep it more hygenic, I change my tooth brush every one month. HAPPY BRUSHING YOUR TEETH TWICE A DAY.

Nope, I don't tap, I like extra water on my toothbrush. My mouth is sensitive so I like to water down the toothpaste. And I can't stand toothpaste made for sensitive mouths because it doesn't seem to clean my teeth well enough.
