Scripture - John 16:22 "So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoyce, and no one will take away your joy." It is the Lord's will that we experience joy. He said earlier that we will go through hardship and there will be circumstances that will try and steel our joy, because we are in the world. It is only through faith that we can still rejoyce in times of struggles. Look at the martyrs who died but kept on singing or praying, even praying for their percecuters whilst being killed. We can rejoyce in the fact that when all pass away, we will be with our Lord forever. Paul said that this hardship that we experience now cannot measure up to the joy that awaits those who persevere in faith. The time will come that we will be free from all hardship but until then we have to endure with faith, our eyes on the price, eternal peace together with our Saviour. May you find peace in the midst of trail and tribulation. Blessings
