Hello TitoRoyal , I read the newspaper daily. It is my hometown newspaper. I think it one of the best news papers in the country. It is not too large and since I don't live in my home state I read it online. Whenever I go back home I am sure to pick up an actual newspaper. The online version does not cost as much as the written paper but I also take my laptop to keep up on what is going on there and all over. I read the local news first then go to the world news portion and opinion and politics.

My family and I read the news online. For one, it is FREE. Another advantage is that we don't have to stack piles and piles of newspaper, thus, it keeps the house clean from this kind of clutter. Really, it's about time we all do something to conserve paper. Unless I am in a place where there is no Internet Connection, then I'd opt to get a real newspaper. And lastly, when you get your news online, one is not limited to just the local news. Sure, local news sites also report about things happening across the globe, but international news site have a wider scope of these news compared to ours. But of course, to each his own :) Nice topic.

I am reading news paper online itself. In my room i am alone. Hence i am not in the position to pay the bills. Any way i have the net connection. So i am enjoying reading newspaper online. Even the advantage in reading newspaper online is we will get the latest updates in the sites. In my place e-papers will be published around 4 am. So i can read the newspaper in the early morning itself. Whereas i have to wait till 8 am to get the hard copy of the paper in the stall.

I do usually read the news online. However, sometimes when I go over to my mother-in-law place, I will also read the newspapers. She will usually buy 2 - 3 types of the local main newspapers (in both English and my mother tongue - Chinese). I like reading online because it's very convenient. There's no flipping of the newspapers necessary. I will usually read the local news, followed by the Asian and world news. I will sometimes also read the entertainment news corner.

Hi TitoRoyal, I read both the paper newspapers as well as the online news daily. I read the paper newspaper after having breakfast. My husband buys newspaper daily after his morning walk in the nearby park. Before checking my mailbox I am used to read the latest news first. After reading the global news, national and local news, I then indulge in reading entertainment, celebrities and sports news. Other than the online news from 3 local newspapers, I also read news from yahoo and ewoss. For the sake of time, I would spend a bit more time in reading the interesting and important ones and have a glimpse on the headline of those I’m not interested. Happy posting

I read the news online, often. Not mainstream circuits, mostly alternative news journalists and bloggers (citizen journalists, usually, in other words) instead. Keeps me more properly informed, as an alternative news blogger myself. I read five main ones each week, with about ten to fifteen others that I check monthly. I do occasionally read the newspaper...but usually for cartoons, recipes, or clippings of local events.

i don't read newspapers online as i have subscribed to one of the daily newspaper and its my daily routine to go thru the newspaper before going to office but in election time i use to visit online news channel as we don't have TV at office. I don't think its necessary to read news online as we have TV which gives the best and latest news..

I have subscribed to a local newspaper and also one international. I read the news in the papers every morning. I need to keep myself updated with the business information locally and internationally. Once in a while, I do check the breaking news online too.

I used to do all of my news reading on-line, but then, my kids started delivering the local paper. Now, I get a paper copy of that one. I still go on-line when I want to read the news in other areas, like where my parents and brother are. I alos like to read the Yahoo news at times. For me, it is noice to have the paper copy, but very convenient to be able to sit at my desk and read the others on-line.

I read regular newspapers. Sometimes when I wanted to know the news I look at online to know about the news. I think it is fun to read the news from online. I most times look forward to look at the sports news first and then I look at the various main news.

Basically i only read newspapers on the sports section. And sometimes i check out some puzzles (i love sudoku). But i don't read them regularly. I prefer to read books that encourages positive thinking. Because, most of the time, you only read negative things about the news.

yes i do read newspaper daily and i read newspaper old style ie paper newspaper. I dont read paper online as like most Indian families we do get The Hindustan Times deleivered to our home by 6.30 or so and since newspaper is pretty cheap in India. It cost us less than 2$ per month to get the newspaper. And then the old newspaper dont go waste and they are sold to make paper bags so they are sold for more than 1$ a month. and online newspaper dont give me the satisfaction of the real newspaper.

I don't have the habit of reading newspaper either on broadcast sheet or online. I prefer to watch news updates through television. It is more convenient on my part to just listen to the newscaster. It is only when I am so engross with the news article that I want to dig more about the topic that I research it on the internet.

I need my newspaper first thing in the morning. I prefer readin the hard copy rather than reading it online. But i guess its high time we all gave a thought to conserving paper (consequently, trees & environment) and switch to reading it online! Have a nice day!
