Yes you read this right. In my life right now I am a swinger. By this I mean that on Sunday morning I woke up tp frost on the lawn etc and a temperature of 34 degrees. Today (Tuesday) qwe hit 93 and humid as heck. So the swing in 2 days was a wild one. Our normal high temp is 71 so we were 22 degrees above normal. What type of swqing did you experience as of late? Did your te3mperature take a huge climb or dive like this recently? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Since it was Grandpa Bob's discussion, I really expected to hear about a garden swing. LOL. I have been sitting in one of those, at night, when the temperature does not swing to far down.

Phew! You had me worried there for a moment, Grandpa Bob! I thought you were having a funny turn! I know what you mean about the weather. It's the same here. We had a really warm, sunny spell, and now we've reverted to high winds, cool temperatures and quite a bit of rain. I can't wait for it to steady up... it's almost midsummer... well, it will be in four weeks. lol. Brightest Blessings.

I don't envy you the heat. My body doesn't like it quite that hot, especially at night because I can't sleep, but I do wish it would warm a little here, and the winds drop slightly. It begins to grind you down after a while. It is slightly better today, having said that, but there's still room for improvement.

Our temperature around here in Indiana, has been changing alot also. It can be in the 70's one day and 60's the next and then up to 80 degrees and a low in the frost temperatures. It is very weird weather.

Same thing here Bob - crazy weather freezing and frost one day and hot the next. Was inside all day today (work) but got to slip out and enjoy the sun and warmth on my breaks. And I thought it was just Michigan that had crazy, swinging, weather. I always say, "Hey it's Michigan if you don't like the weather give it 5 minutes and it'll change."

I was outside most the day doing a lor of various gardening chores. I transplamnted a copuple Peonies I got from a neighbor. Small one stemmed bu they will get large in a couple years. Plus I dug up some Hostas for dads healt care aide as she wanted some so I said I'd give her a few. I tried adding comments earlier here and they took 3 or 4 times before they'd go through. Pizzed me off to no end. Hahaha! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Oh I do envy you so - remember the huge garden I had last year, gone :( postage stamp sized 'yard' where I'm living now and few herbs in pots on front porch is all I'll have this year. Not even a sunny location for a tomato or pepper plant. Making some huge changes in my life though and looking forward to having a home of my own with a beautiful garden again someday. Thanks bunches for br - will help working towards my dream.

Seems like it has been doing that here for the last few days. As example we woke up to 50 degrees. By the time my daughter gets home from school it is supposed to be 83. No wonder we have such a hard time getting rid of spring colds.

Hey Grandpa Bob! Yup! We had the same crazy azz temperature swing too! It was so weird! It was in the 60's one minute and then it went down to the 30's at night! It is not supposed to be doing this now! It is supposed to be getting closer to the summer temps! What is happening to us? Now today it got up into the 70's again! It was nice and warm! In the sun it was hot! I just don't know what to think anymore!

Our temp did some swinging too, lucky for us it didn't swing as much as yours. It only got in the mid 80's today. The next few days its going to be in the upper 80's and lows around 40. Just a swingin.

We have not done anything quite that extreme. Lows in the forties following highs in the eighties. It is a little off this year, but not as extreme as what you are describing.

we had a record low today, 52º, the closest we've had before was in 1900 and that was 54º

It has been a nice change for us. We have been being in the 70's at night and 90's in the day but after a cool front come on Saturday night we have been in the high 50's to low 60's at night and low to mid 80's during the day. We can expect this for the next day or two. I am sure enjoying it.

Our temps here have been pretty steady, there was one day last weekend when it was cool, I think it got down to 44, but that was after we had some rain. So far this week its going to be in the 70's, which is weird for us, because it being May we should already be getting in the high 80's and maybe 90 by now, I don't know what kind of summer we're going to have.

I can understand your swinging, Grandpa! We have had the same thing around here the last couple weeks. One day, you are in short sleeves and the next day, you have to have a coat! We've been up in the high 80's and then down to the 40's and 50's the past few weeks. Tomorrow we will be 80 again. Hopefully, one of these days this swinging will stop and we'll get back to normal. We've also had lots of rain, more than our share.

the temperature seems to stay the same throughout this month. we have not yet experienced this drastic change of temperature as we did last month. thankfully we have fine weather. though we have dry season now. it is not that hot. but we have still to use electric fan to cool down ourselves inside our houses. air conditioning the whole house is not common here in my country. we have only air conditioner in one room and which is not my room. i am in the other room with electric fan only.

It was cooler this weekend than usual, but at least it didn't snow like it did in Edmonton!

I have seen a swing of around 10 degree celsius. This was the highest swing that I have seen with in two days. This temperature difference makes out a lot of variation in the temperature.

We had frost warnings Sunday night and Monday night. Although it didn't get quite as low as expected Sunday night, Monday night it made up for it. It hit 30 degrees here. Luckily we covered our garden both nights. Today it was 85 degrees but not very humid. Very nice actually. Tomorrow we are predcited 90 degrees with high humidity. We are swingers here too!
