for me, it is both.. you can choose the best.. of course, we can do our best.. BUT when you feel you can not choose it or can not control the situation.. let GOD take the rest. God always give the BEST for us..

My belief is a shade different. I believe God gives us the power to decide what's best for us, as well as the ability to discriminate between the best and less. Our free will takes over from there, and we do all we can to see that the decisions we make are the right ones for our lives.
