Master Colon Cleanse guide: day 2

So this is day 2 and I feel remarkably great! I am only slightly hungry and I seem to have plenty of energy. Last night got a little weird though. As the evening grew late I started to panic. I found myself opening the fridge and cupboards repeatedly. I didn't break. I felt a little weak at the end of the evening and then I had my last glass of lemonade and BOOM I was up again. About an hour and a half before bed I did my p.m. salt water flush (remember to only use non-iodized salt and sea salt is the best) and after going a whole day without the flush seeming to work I got hit. Somewhere around fifteen minutes after chugging my warm salt water it made it's way out. It is highly possible the last 29 years of my life that was in there did too. I finished my lemonade and went to bed believing I'd feel like crap today, boy was I in for a surprise. This morning I woke up and felt 15 again. I have tons of energy and jogged to work without a qualm. I immediately went downstairs and had a small cup of lemonade and got dressed and hussled off. I waited for the morning rush to die down so the store would be slow and drank my flush. This time it was like five minutes I swear. I rushed to the door to lock it and put up my sign and away I went. This time it was like ten times the effect. the flush really works well. I proceeded to continue drinking my lemonade and felt great all day. Around 10 I started having bacon cravings but I still never truly felt hungry, and I work in a donut shop. It was crazy, I didn't even come close to eating a donut. I had read that the 1st day is the really hard one. If tomorrow is even easier than today then I might just stay on this forever and add in some protein powder and multi vitamins. Just kidding, I can't wait to have a huge fish burrito!

The (un-iodized) sea salt flush never worked for me, and so I pretty much gave up on this one. It's good to hear thatyou're doing so well, though. Good luck & keep up the work! By the way, could you enlighten me on the salt-to-water ratio again?

I am doing 2 teaspoons (NOT tablespoons) in a liter of warm water. I drank it pretty warm and it was actually kinda tasty today like veggie broth. It didn't work at all for me yesterday and then it really worked last night.

Wow. After reading how well you are doing I might have to try it too. So you can actually go to work while on the program? You don't have to run to the bathroom all the time? I will keep an eye on this thread to follow how you are doing on it. Best of luck to you.

Nope, no constant toilet time. Really there is just one crazy one shortly after you drink the flush. It might last a minute though so be prepared to lose 5 - 10 minutes and take your time to make sure you are done, trust me I almost had a serious problem for a second lol. Thanks for the luck.

Congrats to you! It's great to hear that you are already feeling some of the positive benefits. How long does this cleanse take to complete? Are you planning on cleansing any other organs? I seem to remember a similar (lemonade ) cleanse that also cleansed the entire body. I think it was a 2 week cleanse and about a week into it, it gets a bit nasty for a couple of days... horrible breathe, skin looks oily, hair becomes oily and dirty looking... as all the toxins begin to exit the body. I'm looking forward to your next installment...good luck!!

Well congratulations on this, I dont really understand the whole concept of it but from what I can tell you are not eating and just drinking lemonade and salt water. Hmm... not sure I would try this myself but you seem to be doing well!! Good luck and stay persistant!!!!! =D

Hi there angels mummy! Hello! the whole reason for what I am doing is because of what I have been doing for years. Eating and drinking terrible things, inhaling pesticides from my neighbors lawn and breathing in car exhaust. All of this causes a build up of toxins in your body. Your colon helps filter out some of this stuff and well it tends to take on some buildup called "fecal plaque" after so many years. The master cleanse diet is designed to wipe out all of the crud that you have ingested and built up as well breakup up to 10 pounds of fecal plaque that resides in most adults colon. At the same time it will kill all the bad bacteria (and the good stuff too) as well any passive parasites or aggressive parasites in your intestines and colon by poisoning it with too much acidity and salinity while also starving it. At the end of the cleanse it is suggested to build up colonies of healthy bacteria and enzymes through the use of probiotics like yogurt and kombucha.
