Are the tasks here, worth their reward?

I came across a two tasks already. But upon reading the instructions, I realized that the were just not worth it... you research for quiet a number of links, keys words, and the reward only ranges from 10 to 20 cents. For me, that's just too small. Maybe I am just comparing it to my other online jobs. hen I first read discussions telling me that they received 2 dollars for a task, I thought that was cool. But less than a dollar, and you get to do a lot of tasks? I'd rather stick to responding to discussions! What do you think guys?

Kryell, that is what i'm doing, that is way I said before that I enjoy just looking for friends to find things that we can talk about, with a lot of hopes that we would find things that we like and start chatting then the next thing you no the time as gone by, for you are right I haven't really made any money on this site, I did not no when I joined that there were so many rules and that you only made 1 cent, but for the hard and long time that you must work on this thing they have way to many rules if you ask me, Now maybe someone else will feel differant I really don't no, but I can say so far I have read a lot of people here have stated that they really aren't making money here either, so you are not in this boat a lone, I'm sitting in the same boat with you and I do believe someone gave us a boat that has a hole in it, LOL, really I do, I mean I have done everything that they have asked and so far all I have is 8 cents, well, gees, I think when I was a baby I made more then that just to be cute for my mom, not work your butt off to get no wheres. But that really is up to you, what ever you do I wish you the best in all you do.

Wasimperviz is right. I may have felt really dismayed the past days, due to low earnings despite a lot of efforts. But I realized, that my efforts were just used in the wrong thing. Check out your interests, so that when you see a discussion which fits you, and you can fairly add inputs to it, you won't notice the earnings, but enjoy going along the discussion.

Hahaha!!! I doubt it! I don't even think I can ever reach a dollar in a day. But from experience, I'd rather not be too conscious of my earnings and just enjoy the discussions. With that, maybe efore I know it, I may have reached my 10 dollars. I no longer set a due for that.

i dont know of many that pay, this one and i think two others i knbow about, and this one is slow, but i have seen others that are much slower, there is one i just recently joined and it seems like you asked and answer questions all day long, and not even get one penny, the only difference is the pay out is on a specific date, you dont have a minimum to reach as you do here. lol.. complicated i guess, but i do wish everyone well with their success happy my lotting :D

I don't normally do those tasks either. I like the writing assignments better...they're more interesting and they pay more. Usually around #2.00 for writing four paragraphs about a chosen subject. They take some time to do, too, but at least the pay is better.

Maybe that's what I am referring to, when I mentioned about earning about 2 dollars. The research thing is just not worth it. I wish to land into some writing tasks here.

Hello my friend! Well, tasks here have a corresponding reward depending on the type and its difficulty. It is worthy because it helps a lot in increasing the earnings. The link task has a reward of 10 cents and research task was 20 cents because the two are easy to do. The writing (4-paragraph) task gives me a thrill because it has a reward of $2. I always try it when available because it is a good reward. I have some writing task that approved and some that rejected but it's okay, at least I tried. I haven't tried the $4 writing task (500-word article) because I received rejection from the 4-paragraph task and it is clearly stated that it is for users that haven't received rejections. Anyway, tasks are really cool because of the reward, hehe... Happy mylotting!

Hey booger! I have also done the four paragraph tasks. I did five of them. Two of them got approved, two were rejected, and the remaining one 'have no idea. It's been pending for almost two months. I don't know why the tasks creator hasn't responded to me yet. I also haven't tried the 500 word article because, like what you said, it's for those who hasn't have any tasks rejected or returned. Lately, I haven't been accepting those four paragraph tasks. I realize that the time I spent completing that tasks is not worth it, because it's time consuming. I have to research about the given keywords and topic and other stuffs. Instead of using my time finishing those four paragraph I'd rather spend it with the $0.20 tasks. I can finish 50+ tasks in 3+ hours. If you do a math on it I'll earn $10. And I'm confident that I will earn that. I don't think that a lot of them will get rejected or returned because I make sure that there backlinks doesn't exceed 50. Just this morning I receive 31 message from mylot task creator and all of them were approved tasks. I hope that there'll be more task tomorrow.

The slots on writing tasks are very limited when compared to research task so just grab them quickly before the others had taken it...

Tasks rewards can range between $.10 to $4 depending on the task. Posting tasks and research tasks offers very small rewards and I do not even know how to do them. 16 of the tasks I've done were all writing tasks. Each paid 15 tasks were paid $2 and 1 for $3. Everytime I try to do posting tasks I end up frustrated because I never really know how to do it. So I just leave it to the ones who know much about postings. As for me, I stick with writing task and the pay is good. Hope there will be more tasks for different mylotters. For those who love to do research and postings, and for those who love to write. Hope you will have your share of tasks too, the once you love to do.

Well, the posting and research tasks are easy to do because it is more on following directions that's why the reward is quite small compared to writing tasks...

How did you land to a writing task? Is there a specific time of the day which they post them, or will I just check the task window from time to time? Because if it's the latter, I have been checking it many times a day, and I only see research tasks.

Tasks dont easily come by. The last time I did all 16 task was last week. Just probably lucky, i saw many writing task in the evening (gmt+8)Grabbed 7 writing tasks which I did for almost 3 hrs. Then the following day, still lucky there were many writing tasks again , so i completed 10. All were approved just yesterday. Then last night I saw 3 writing tasks worth $4 each...too bad it was too late, there was no time to write it. Such a waste, but Im sure many other mylotters grabbed the opportunity and I am just happy for them to earn too. Yes, now I only see linking and posting tasks. I really do not do them because I do not know how to do it, and besides I am back to my real job. Hope you get to try some writing tasks, just check it often while you are in mylot.Goodluck.Got to work...

it varies on opinion from person to person. at times I find them quite good. But initially for 20 cents tasks, there were 5 sites to list and 5 email address. Now its 10. The rate is same as 20 cents. So it should have been greater. for 2 dollars they are very rarely accepted for me.

I agree. But for now that I haven't tried any tasks yet, I really can't give a very good feedback with the right feel. I am still hoping that I can try one. In fact, I have been checking the task window from time to time.

to be honest i find it difficult to complete the tasks..if the question is being worth the reward obviously its not because it demands a lot of time for research and analyzing..but with mylot's effort to do and give this tasks for extra earnings i say its worth appreciating the effort so i'd rather not do it so i wont complain...but you have a point.

i have tried those tasks... that posting links, writing... i kind of like it... at first it was really hard for me to understand what i was to do especially with those that pay only 0.10-0.20, i have to repeatedly read the instructions... it was really hard at first, but when i was able to finish one task, the second became not too hard anymore, then the third one was already easy for me to do, since i have gone through it already and knows what to do. it's only in the first time that it is hard and you would think its not worth it but now i find them easy to do, and i would love to do them again even if the pay is only 10 cents or 20 cents... for the writing i think $2-$4 is really good, i made one and was approved and it was really easy.

I always look at what the task is asking before I accept it. There are some that just arent worth it for me! Some of them would take me too long to research the information, so I dont do them. There are others that I can do quickly or I already know something about. Those ones are usually worth my time. I may not be making a lot of money from them. But even if they are only 10 or 20 cents, I can make more money by completing the task than I can by responding to discussions. In those cases, I chose the task! There is nothing that says you have to do the tasks. Sometimes they are worth it and sometimes they arent. If you are happy with just the discussions, just do that! I love that you get the choice and arent forced to do both!
