Does money make you happy?

Does money make you happy or are the best things in life free? Personally i think Love, having people who care about you and a great family who love you and will suport you no matter what will make you happy and you dont need to be rich to have them! I don't particularly think money is a neccessity to make you happy, but it sure does help! I would always choose Love over Money though.

Of course money makes everybody happy, but not the kind of happiness that love can give. Money gives only temporary happiness and also should not be the only source of happiness because there are lots of other things in our life that would make us happy. Just remember that at the end of the day, we should not forget to thank God the happiness and everything we have.

Ahh yep i agree, short term happiness and no one near as rewarding. The kind of happiness that makes you feel good for an hour, maybe a week. Then love, the kind of happiness when you fall asleep next to the person you love with a big smile on your face, happy just to be close to them... Unbeatable

This is a hard question for me. I grew up where I didn't have much growing up so now that I have the opportunity to get stuff that I like that makes me happy. I am not money hungry but for example my mom struggled raising me and when I buy her stuff and see the look on her face I get happy. People are able to do more things obviously when they have money so it does make them happy. But I do agree about being loved, and having family are better than money.

Aww yeah i understand what you mean. It must feel so good being able to see the look on your mums face, knowing you have made her happy. I think money is over rated to a certain extent - but to use money wisely to do a great thing is the best possible way to use it, in my oppinion.

money buys the things that make me happy and gives me funds to do things with my family and friends. seems like the more i have the more i need.
