Hi myLotters! Is it possible to receive money on your Paypal account even if the account is not yet verified? I tried searching for the answer on Paypal's website but I couldn't find it. I've done everything that Paypal requires in order to open an account except link my account to a credit or debit card.

Halo angela, If you want to withdraw your money in your paypal account to your bank account the answer is yes, you should get your paypal account verified. But if you did not want to withdraw it, or you will use your money to make a online payment later, its okay if you did not verified. So, Its up to you, depend on your pland to use it.

I'm not planning on withdrawing my money yet. I just want to make sure that it gets accepted by Paypal. Thanks! I feel so relieved because I thought I was gonna lose my payment just because of this.

Hello Angelajoy , Yes ofcourse you can get money from PayPal to your own bank account or thru checks even if your account is not verified.....People having high status have credit card with them....so you need not worry....just give ur bank account number in paypal and withdraw sum into your bank account...alternately , you can also demand check or get paid through ur VISA/ATM card....

Yes, you an receive money even your paypal account is unverified. The only problem is unverified paypal account have sending limitation and you not able to withdraw the money. Other than that, all the feature is same. Anyway, it is better if you can apply your own debit or credit card to verify it

Yes, I've read in the Paypal website that you could lift the limits of your account when you verify it.

yes you can still receive money with verifying it with credit card. i used mine like that for 2 years before i finally linked it to one of my bank accounts, then it became verified. i have since unlinked it and closed the bank account because i made a purchase and my pay was late in bank, paypal still took the money and the bank allowed the withdrawel to happen. a $56 item ended up costing me nearly $200. paypal also did a fee withdrawel, each over draw was $30 fee and it kept going up each day till i managed to fix it up properly.

It is no problem for you to receive money even if your Paypal account is not verified yet. My dad's Paypal account is not verified, but he can still receive and send money. It is alright. I think the verified account is just beneficial for the sellers. I love China

The good news is that, as far as receiving money goes, it does not matter whether your PayPal account is verified or unverified. Either way you can still receive money. I have had my PayPal account since 2007 and for one reason or another I have never gotten around to getting it verified. But I have still received a few payments from several websites.

It is possible to receive money even if the account isn't verified, and it is also possible to withdraw money to your bank account, even if the account isn't verified, but there some limitations and you can't withdraw a huge amount of money unless you verify your account. My account is unverified and I have never had any problems receiving money, but I have had problems when I wanted to pay for something through paypal. Most of the times it worked fine, but Neobux won't accept an unverified account. I tried to buy referrals for Neobux with my paypal, but it wasn't possible and they just returned the money because my account wasn't verified. On some sites you might have similar problems if you try to buy something with an unverified account, but if you only want to recieve money there shouldn't be a problem.

I have had no problems getting payments on a unverified paypal account. Its been so long since I was unverified I have forgotten but I think you may not be able to withdraw the money till you are verified. But then I may be wrong. I just vaguely remember something like that.

Yes, you can still receive money to your paypal account even if it is not verified. But you cannot transfer money to your bank account if your paypal is not verified. So make sure you verify your paypal account first before transferring money to your bank account because paypal charges you if the amount is returned back to your paypal account.

I believe you can still receive money to your Paypal account even if it's not yet verified. I think the only time you need to verify your Paypal account is when you're going to withdraw your credits. Hope this helps.

Yes, I am rather sure that you can receive payment to your paypal account even though it is not verified. However, there may be some of the money making sites which needs your paypal account verified. When your paypal account is not verified, you are not able to withdraw the amount. It needs your bank account or credit/debit credit account in order to transfer the amount over. But if you do not intend to withdraw the amount, then it is not a problem having the unverified account. you can still use it to do online purchase.

I can remember I had the same question in my mind one month ago while I started my online earning activities. But now I have received payment from some of the site and my paypal account type is unverified so you can be assured that you can receive your payments with out verifying your account. The verification just increases the limit of mount you can send to someone and your bank transfer limits. But I don't think that you will have problem with that because the amount we earn from online activities is far far less than the limits. So enjoy your paypal account with out verification and you will not have any problem.
