I'm never used to this feeling.

I have been rejected many times. I have applied to some leadership's summits and have been rejected. Recently, I tried my luck in applying to a business summit. I was not good enough again. The feeling is sad. I should have been used to this kind of feeling. But I am not. I think I'll never be. I thought I will take the slot this time. But I was wrong. I thought I would have an advantage over the other applicants. But I was wrong again. I am sad. But I thought of life. It's too short to be sad for even a second. I should be happy. I'll just try my luck again next time. I just have to be better. I won't lose hope. There will be new opportunities for me. This won't be the last.

Hi! I truly admire your spirit and your attitude.Just continue to feel the way you do now and I can assure you that things will fall into place."When God closes all doors, he opens a window.Often we spend so much energy banging on closed doors that we forget to feel and enjoy the breeze coming through the open window".By allowing your mind to accept the inevitability of the situation you are in you have succeeded in undoing the knot which would have otherwise formed in your mind. There is a quiet confidence in you, maturity and inner strength which will spill over to the other areas of your life, making you truly better adjusted and happier. There are times we are saddled with circumstances which offer no light at the end of the tunnel.Never give up hope.Life is a challenge.Find happiness and fullfilment by adopting the positive attitude which you already have.As you have rightly said life is too short to waste time brooding. All the very best to you.God Bless.

I think that there are many times in our life we are going to be rejected. i think we need to just accept that those times are going to occur and do our best to go on with life as we know it. I think there are many things I could choose to feel bad about but I dont because I know there are things that are not always going to go my way.

Yes, I totally agree with you. I've accepted every rejection but prior to that is the sad feeling it gave. But I'm happy that I have an accepting heart to face it and start afresh.

Let me state to you some views I have read in the book of Kuya Rene's "Spiritual Reality" (Rene Mariano is a well-known psychic in the Philippines - www.renemariano.net - Philippine Tel. No. 632-8436346) "If you expressly were to wish the best in your life, you should seek the divine gifts that God had given you. He placed it inside you. This is your freedom to choose. Remember, you are the sole person on this world, who can transform yourself to be the best or the worst individual which you can ever be!You have to calm down your thinking mind so that you can have access to the last three levels of your unconscious mind. This is for you to be able to activate and utilize its potential powers. You can do this through meditation. This is to silence your thinking mind. In other words, you have to pass the sphinx to be able to open the door and cross the threshold of these realms. you must know, how to make this monster to slumber - so that she cannot give you a riddle. If you could not, the sphinx, which is your analytical mind together with your memorized knowledge, will truly give you a question, which you can never answer, and so, she will absolutely devour you." Hope this will help you. Good luck in your future endeavors!

Me, too suffered rejection all the time. Well, I figured, we suffered rejection because we expected too much. Like me, there's one person I strongly adored and loved, I'd done everything to please him but to no avail, each day my emotion is severely hurt with rejection. But there's nothing I can do with it, but to let it go because I cannot forced that person to love and accept me. I am planning to resign and find another job to take that person out of my mind but I cannot find any available job, that add to my misery everyday. So right now, I stop hoping for anything else, but of course we cannot dictate ourselves when to stop hoping. So just be sure that next time you apply try not to expect too much to ease the degree of disappointment and frustration.

hi Lloyd, just wanted to say that is a good attitude to have, not letting it get you down too much. I'm thinking that there must be heavy competition in the field you're trying to get into because you seem intelligent, well spoken, good looking... just wanted to wish you the best of luck, and if it's something you love, don't give up!

Having a good positive attitude is what will help one to succeed and you are displaying this. My advice to you is to re-enacted the interview and see where you think was your downfall and then work on these areas. Sometimes we go into an interview overconfident and this was displayed and so the interviewers were turned off from it.
