How to register Logo design in UK?

What I think you want is the UK Patent Office, if not they will be able to point you in the right direction. The register names and logos that permit you to put the ® symbol after you name or logo. They are expensive though. They wanted £200 (GB Pounds) from me with no guarantee that they would register the name/logo I wanted. Then I would have to redesign it and submit it again, with another £200. Good luck anyway.

The company I am working for has an office in London. They do have name registered, but they change logo design recently. My goal is to find they way to register new logo without the lawyer fees...200 sounds much better that 2000 fee they would have to pay for lawyer to help. Thank you...

I have since found the correct website that may help you - http://www.ipo.gov.uk/tm.htm - Yes, a lawyer would charge for his time for setting it all up. But it can be done independently. The 200 I mentioned was quite a few years ago, but I don't think it would be anywhere near 2000 now. Good luck.. - Derek
