Free pizza in the office!

I wouldn't say free but we all pitch in and do a pot lucks. We used to do this once a week in the summer months but we have tapered off some. Maybe when the boss goes off on his business trips we'll start it up again. I think things like this are good for the employess. It is great for moral and when a boss will buy everyone pizza for a birthday like that, it does show they are appreciated.

I miss those days when we get free food in the office whenever someone is celebrating a birthday... or just accomplished something important... nowadays... i only get free jollibee when the maintenance guy in my office wins "jueteng"... and that happened twice now... There are only the two of us in the office... so no freebies that often...

Yes that is common in offices. In our office we are nearly 90 staff each one celebrate their birthdays in office only. Guess how many many times in a year we get free stuff in a year. Besides these celebrations they supply free stuff on their promotions, transfers and on their wards success in the examinations. So in real terms every 2-3 days one gets free stuff through out the year. Good day to you. Hope you have your pizza by now.

My officemates and I love it when there is free food here in the office hehe. Its not just about the food, its also the chance to unwind together in the pantry. We don't have a reason to do that unless someone is celebrating their birthday hehehe. We also get free food from agents who are able to receive high incentives or commissions. Its not as much as birthdays but its good enough for snacks:) hehe

We also get free pizza at the office a lot. Whenever a sales manager closes a big deal or whenever we get away teasing one of the manager to buy pizza, we always get pizza deliveries. In a month at least we get 3 pizza deliveries here in the ofice. And the nice part is its free. On birthday's,the birthday celebrant prepares food for the whole company. We are composed of more or less 30 people in the office so its pretty costly. But if you do not have the budget, you are not required to treat the whole company. Last June 5, instead of preparing lunch for 30+ people, I just prepared a simple merienda for less than 10 people. All the sale and field officers were out so I did not have to prepare for many. Good thing because I really do not have the budget for that.

No regular free food on ordinary days. But if it's the birthday of one of the execs, they feed everyone in the office either during breakfast or lunch. Hahaha. Our Department Head always throws a party at his home if it's his birthday so no free food for us either. Yikes.
