hello everybody, all of us must have an attitude of being teachable and learn new things in life. I have heard people who finish college start to stop learning new things. For them education is only up to graduation in college. But the thruth we must not stop on learning new things. Like some of us need to read the Bile and re read it again for everytime we read each passage there is still new insights from the Lord. We need to be updated, we need to read news and the internet is a very good source of learning something new everyday. Don't let your mind to be stagnat. Notice a stagnat canal what will happen, no water flows. Happy mylotting and feel free to comment on this God Bless.

I'm already past 50's but I still long to learn a lot of things...in other words, I don't like to stagnate, lest I'd be irrelevant. I'm an educator that's alue why I value learning and education. I agree that the news and the internet are very good sources of new learning. Seminars and workshops, international and local benchmarking, travels are also other good sources aside of course from enrolling in graduate courses to "sharpen the saw"...

I love learning new things. I graduated from college a few years ago yet I never stopped learning new things too. There are simply a lot of things to learn. I am currently learning two new foreign languages right now. I also read the newspaper everyday so that I am updated with current events. I still have a very long list of things I want to learn and do before I reach thirty.

I love learning new things. I am curious by nature and a voracious reader. If I want to learn something, I usually buy books or research a subject. I never stop asking "why" or "how." I'd be incredibly bored if I couldn't learn something new every day.

Hi there mhethess! I believe that we never really stop learning. That the only time we stop learning is the day that we die. I always love learning something new. I like any food for my brain! I think that if I stop learning something new, my brains will end up with rust. I always look for ways to learn new things. It is very helpful in my work as a college professor.

Hi Mthethess, I am 100% agreed with you. We must learn new things and update ourselves, so that we will not get old! I mean our mind will not be old, we can still talk the same languange with our kids, that's so cool! One of the things that i define for success is that able to learn new things, experienced new things! I think that is very important for one's life.

Yes I wish I could learn more about blogging and how to make my more successful. My husband just got a bad call that his hours will be cut starting next week so I want to do anything I can to help out. I am working on getting a job during the weekend so I will have babysitters but there are not many places hiring right now. I'm not picky I just can't work at a resturant. The smell of food all day would make me sick or fat b/c i would get hungry lol.

well i don't think learning ends with education. i learn new things all the time. i learn something new when i read a novel. i learn something new when i watch television programmes. all we need to do is keep an open mind. information and knowledge is all around us and all we have to do is be open to them. research and studies are published in the newspapers all the time.

Hi,I would never stop learning new things or relearn anything I like.i enjoy learning by myself.I like to update myself in many ways.I think learning is also a good way to keep young. In fact,i think people who stop learning after leaving school are very narrow_minded.They may have a hard time keeping pace with the world.

It is the other way round for me. If I do not learn something new, I do not feel comfortable. Once I have been into something for long I get bored if I do not get to know anything new there. Well, truly speaking however narrow a field there is a lot new to do even in that. But if you are saddled with an industrial job, the constarints on profitability, ROI and other concerns will take away the charm of any new ideas. One area where you can cntinue to do and learn new things is for instance learning new languages(in my case for example -as lover of langages; perfect the learning of a language yu already know but you have a long way to go). In fact I get into such things to keep my spirits up. Otherwise with my nature I should be practically going mad. The same can be said of doing projects for Engineering applications -again relevant to me- as a coworker for my son, who is in college. I can go n like this. In short doing new things for me is as dear as life itself. It makes life worth living.

I am a homeschool graduate. One of the things that my parents instilled in me was the importance of going out and learning for myself. I love the library. My first job was at a library. I have my own personal library at my house. I collect a lot of educational books without even trying to. I love historical fiction or true life reads. I don't think you have to go to college to keep learning... and if I did go to college I wouldn't let my experiences end there.

I would agree for it. I'm craving always for something knew to learn. It's quite adventure for me to learn new innovations and update in snythings. I dont want to be like a stagnant canal that cannot be flowed by water. I always like to have upgrade so that I will not obsolete to something else. Studies and ideas now is so different last 10 years so we need to go the flow of the trends today so that we will not be laugh by somebody.

It is a pity that after schooling, people seem to have a sort of animosity toward learning, reading and so on. I think I have learned more in quantity after formal education then while apart of it. The system has made school a sort of chore, and learning has become a little negative.

I agree 100% with you! I love to read non-fiction and learn something I've never known before. I always loved geography so I love to learn about other countries and people. And it just drive me crazy when people look at a map and can't find the place they need! I look at the Bible, too, and pick up lots of things I didn't see before. Yes, we need to keep our brains alive and well! Take care!
