He has finally made it to the Indian Test team yesterday as the squad for the Sri Lankan tour was announced. I guess the problem for Sreesanth is more the disciplinary record than anything else and if he can keep a cool mind, then he will be selected, but then that is a very difficult aspect for Sreesanth. Cheers! Ram

Instead of Sreesanth I would prefer Tyagi. Tyagi is bowling with more aggression presently, Sreesanth is not finding place because he is from the south. Nothing else if he would have born in Punjab or Mumbai or Kolkata by now he will be in the Indian team with injury. I too wondered why selectors are preferring a out form Ishant Sharma. I hope Sreesanth gets chance again to prove that he is good bowler for India..

Hello Karan, I think you have Raised a pretty nice issue. I have not been active on mylot due to personal reasons for some weeks now and just got back and this is my first contribution after my return. I also believe that Sreesanth should be given a chance. And bowling out Dhoni with a yorker in the IPL was in a way his indication to the captain that he needs to be called back in the playing 11 soon. Sreesanth would have gained a lot of wisdom being out of the team for such a long time and his theatrics would have wubdued by now. Even in the Ranji tournament he performed well. He played some important role in South Zone team in the Duleep trophy as well. IPL in a way was not a good start for Sreesanth but I am glad Yuvy had the heart to persist with him and he delivered in the later part of the tournament. His aggression and quality outswing will both be potent weapons for the team. Siting fatigue as the reason for the poor show of the team in the T2o world cup would be another reason to get back fresh legs into the team. After all Sree was the man who took the all important catch of Misbah to win India the T20 world cup the previous time. Lets hope the selectors and the captain have sanity to select him for the coming tournaments.

I do agree sreeshanth has nice abilities and can bowl well in tough situations. It is his attitude that comes in the minds of the selectors often

I do not love or hate any one in special.. But I do believe that Sreesanth deserves a place in the team being the more talented and "in form" seamer compared to the so called legendary bowlers in the present team who never perform when it matters the most!!
