I think we all dream a bit about a some fantasy life what ever it may be winning the lotto and going on a world cruise never having to worry about money again.Solving world hunger by making so much money you can sort out everyones problems or driving a motor bike fast,theres nothing wrong with that i think everybody has secret dreams and fantasy to take their minds off the boring times.I would like to go up in a hot air baloon one day,I often dream of floating among the clouds and dream a bit.Then the phone goes and my daughter needs me to help her with the grandchildren or something.Back down to earth but I do enjoy my dream time.

The great thing about dreams is that anything can happen. There are none of the constraints that you might find in everyday life. I have had dreams that I woke up from and thought, that was a great dream. But then again there are days in my real life where I have said that was a great day. Sometimes when you are experiencing boredom dreams can be a great way of escaping. However, life can offer excitement as well.

A lot of wisdom there, in your paragraph! Thanks Tiamjr!! In fact in some of the philosophical/ meta-physical books, it is said that our dream life is just as real as our everyday life. I'm not sure, but think that Buddhist talk about "maya" - the illusion of everyday life... the way we 'frame' what is happening now, is by what has happened in the past..... think you get the idea. BTW... like the silhouette type picture of the black cat in your icon. Sweet dreams

I haven't heard of the 'maya' concept before. It sounds really interesting. I will have to look it up and have a read.
I just changed my avatar today. That is my cat Biscuit. It is the first time he saw snow so he became really transfixed at the window, and I got this lovely photo. The snow really makes him stand out.

I suppose it does, on occasion Dreamhealer. And there are times, when I wonder what it all means. My dreams can sometimes be so clear. Sometimes I don't even want to wake up because I am having such a great dream.
What's really weird, is now and again, if I have Juice or Mountain Dew or something like that, before I go to sleep, I will have all kinds of crazy dreams. And they will be extremely vivid as well.

Yeah, my dreams vary too. Sometimes they are clear, but very often there seems to be no clear message. And often times, completely forgotten - that said, it can be good to keep a dream diary by the bed, to write down one's dreams immediately on waking, when the memories are most vivid. Sometime I find that sleeping away from home can make for more interesting dreams. Wonder what dreams I will get when I go to Glastonbury festival, in a few days time??? Thanks for sharing, Kykidd

Thinking about that now, didn't get a whole lot of sleep at Glasto, there were so many things to do - the Stone Circle was quite often a late visit, high on the hillside!

Yes of course dream life would seem more exciting than everyday life. Everyday life is quite boring, I haven't done much with my life so far. I think that it would be really cool if what we would dream, would come to life. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

Dreams are more exciting than real life.......
Yes it does seem that some of my dreams are more exciting than real life. Well this morning I wake up and I'm singing one of Michael Jackson's songs. It was buried deep within my subconcious I guess but I felt it come pouring out of my belly. It was such a wonderful feeling to be able to spew out the same notes that Michael was able to spew out. Not to say that there is any comparison with me and the king of Pop because everyone have their own talent but I did feel like, God wants me to let out these beautiful notes and sounds that he's placed within me. For too long I have been holding back. Keep dreaming my friend, where would we be without our dreams? Happy mylot!

Live in the moment - learn to enjoy the little everyday things. Be thankful for everything good - no matter how small. Think about how difficult some people's lives can be and remember how good you have it.
Try to treat yourself to activities you enjoy - even if only for a few moments each day.

Many people spend too much time dreaming of what's coming, never realizing that a little of it arrives everyday. I take one day at a time and never focus on a dream life as it is just a thought. Today, well lived, will prepare for both the opportunities and obstacles of tomorrow.

Yes I totally agree Ive always got so bored easily with everyday life and i love dreaming in fact i love sleeping and its really sad but i actually look forward to sleeping.
I had a dream once that was better than any movie ive ever seen it went on for what seemed like forever and I only wish I had a dvd recorder in my brain to tape it!!!
And whats amazing is where did all this stuff come from??
My brain made up this great story full of action suspense and everything else that to me is amazing!!
