Did you ever read comics as a kid and now that you are an adult find yourself still reading them? When i was younger I loved my comics then things happened and I fell out of it. But now I am so into them again its not even funny. But in this day and age there are comics out there aimed for adults. So if you read comic books which ones are your favorites? What characters did you grow up reading and do you still read them? I was a huge fan of the x-men and still am. I love the love hate relationship between Gambit and Rogue and find myself compelled to buy them when I see them on the shelf. DO you buy your comics online? Or do you still go to a comic shop? I have noticed I have to buy online since there is no comic book store where I live. Anyways- what do you think about digital comics? are they the same for you or do your perfer to have them in your hands to read them?

Hey, Well for some reason, I don't really like to read the comics on the computer, I just don't know why. They just don't seem to be that good when they are on the computer, I most of the time buy the newspapers and read them in their. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I read a lot of manga. And I mean A LOT. I went into the young adult's section of the library today, which is where the bulk of the library's comics are located, and realized that I was a 24 year-old in a section meant for people ten years my junior. But I love manga. I think it has a tendency to appeal to different age brackets, not just young people. Comics of all types can do that. Heck, I still like X-Men. I'm not really into digital comics. I mainly buy my own manga from Amazon or check it out of the library. I have to have it in print, though.

I read some digital comics. Not comic books though. I used to love them. The action and relationships were great(I also loved the rogue gambit story. Now I read mostly funny online comics like nuklearpower and sinfest. I guess you would say that now I prefer digital versions(also saves trees)

I don't read comics or graphic novels. A lot of the newer comics are just as bad as watching television or movies. No one wants to create anything that makes you use your mind. You're probably wasting a lot of time reading comics. Imagine what you could have learned using the time wisely.

I'm not a big Marvel fan, but they are doing a series on "Enders Game" and "Ender Shadow" (though I have been waiting for Volume 5 from both series for more than a month - I swear, they complain about people putting out compilations for a lower cost, but it is much easier to see the entire story in one volume instead of having to wait for whenever they decide to release the next chapter ... Anything written by Alan Moore I buy unless the artwork turns me off. "Hell" is a very big volume, but the artwork is mostly scribbling line drawings, and I need to like the artwork as well as the story. Computerized colorization also turns me off; I prefer the traditional four color printing process, but there has been exceptions where the art didn't hurt my eyes as much. I buy most of my comics at Big Brother comics in Sacramento, CA - I suspect I convinced them to carry independent labels as well as the mainstream Marvel/DC labels ... (to have my business, they didn't have a choice ) They had always have a nice selection for me to choose from since they had to move to mid-town, and I always visit at least once a month to see what they had acquired, and they never let me down.

I really enjoy reading the comics in the Sunday paper. I know that isn't exactly the same, but I have always gotten such a big kick out of some of them. I like the sense of humor expressed through Dilbert. I have a little book, that is like a comic book, but it is a hardback. That is the only comic book I own. When I was a kid I tried to read the comics, but couldn't get into them too much. The only one that I could even come close to sinking my teeth into was Archie. :) I know a lot of people really enjoy comics, and my grown nephew is a huge fan. I think it is more of a hobby for some people. And it is great to have hobbies!

I am still childish at heart. Today I still buy the comics that I like. Or sometimes I will buy the cartoon movies for my child. But actually I think I also buy them for myself:) I think my favorite comics is still the Japanese comics called Doramen. X-men is nice and I am much more interested in its movies because the characters look so cool. And the Transformers 2 will be released soon and we are going to watch it. I love China

Hello pukaprat2, I used to buy comics books when I was a kid. When I got older and was dating an artist he turned me on to buying black and white comics and filling the comics with my own colored pencils so it would be a colored comis book. He has put out some comic books, more for adults. He even autographed some comic books for me to give to my b/f from him. What I do with the comic books I have them put away so no creases in the book or finger prints from me.The last comic book I bought I found it online and it was the last comic book of one of his series. I have not spoken with him for about 3 years since he divorced his first wife and married a new one
