He has no place to preach to anyone about fair and open elections.

If you're so bothered by it, lead an uprising to question the legitimacy of the election.

Fortunately, the US has legal ways to handle such things without rioting.

There's been accusations of election fraud in the past three presidential elections. There's been lawsuits, or threats of them, but in the big picture, the outcomes haven't changed -- the guy who won the election remained president, no matter what legal courses of action were taken to pursue a recount. Legal doesn't mean it's effective. But start a riot, and get people on your side, and you'll turn heads.

Obama and ACORN in bed together?! Now that's an ugly thought. lol I can'[t wait until the announcement is made that ACORN will be doing the census taking this time. Besides I think you've learned by now that with Obama it's do as I say and not as I do.

Not that I agree, but let's not forget President Obama did not actually come down hard against the election controversy in Iran, but against the violence afterward.

True, I'm mixed on his reaction in general. He is doing well to not jump in and try to play hero to either side. On the other hand, when he did call a news conference to discuss it, he spent a pathetic couple of minutes on the topic, then jumped into his lies and rhetoric about his pet projects.

Para, do you have proof of election fraud in the last election? I would really like to see all of the proof that you have.

In Milwaukee ACORN, together with faculty and administration of some schools organized a "get out the vote" project. They were going to have the kids go door to door encouraging people to vote. It was learned that the kids were going to be canvassing specific, predominantly Democrat streets (most of which weren't even in the area of the school). When the schools were told that they could only do the project if it was non partisan, it was cancelled completely. In the last 2 presidential elections there were more votes cast in Milwaukee than there are registered voters. In Wisconsin we have a total idiocy called, "Same day registration". Voters can register and vote at the same time. The lie is that their votes aren't counted until their eligibility is verified. But there is no verification that that ever happens. In Milwaukee, members of ACORN have gone door to door asking people if they are planning on voting, if they say no, the ACORN members give them a card telling how to order an absentee ballot, complete with an address on where to send the ballot once they get it. ACORN is nothing but a criminal organization.

"Getting out the vote to areas that favor your political party or agenda is old school politics and not illegal." It is illegal if government money or property is being used to do it.

Getting out the vote to areas that favor your political party or agenda is old school politics and not illegal. It is an extension of the same problem we always have with Gerrymandering districts after a census. The "Moral Majority" had the same program going on throughout the '80's. Sierra Club is nasty about this. Opponents of President Clinton helped Bush. The Republicans National Committee is just upset that ACORN was better than their allies this time.

ACORN is "Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now". Which kind of begs the question... if they are for reform, will they still be for reform in 4-8 years when Obama will be the one we need "reform" from? :~D

I always suspected that. I always suspected that the media wanted a black president, and when none of the other candidates were as far to the left or were as liberal as they wanted, they made sure that Obama got elected. I wonder what guilt they used on the other Democrats to get them to agree? I mean I checked the other candidates that were in other parties that were black and there were a couple that were quite good and should have gotten in. Ah too conservative enough, not bossy enough, not having that demi god image? Tsk tsk.

You are probably right. Acorn has always been a not so well hidden vote registering(legal and not legal) arm of the Democratic party and now with a Democratic controlled Congress and Executive branch the government is funding it to continue to register voters for Democrats.

Oh, but remember, during the election Obama said he had no connections with ACORN, lol! I guess the cat's out of the bag now. Great topic!
