How many vehicles do you own?

What types are they? I own three. I have a 1998 Chevy Blazer, a 2004 Kia Spectra, and a 1998 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera.

We have 2 cars, one for each of us. Mine is a 98 Chevy Venture, his is a 99 Dodge Durango. My van is broke down right now, probably needs a fuel pump or something, he's waiting for a guy to come look at it. His was broken down too until Monday. Hopefully in the next year or so we can upgrade them to newer models, but right now we can't afford car payments.

My wife has a newer vehicle. We got a good deal on it because there was some minor damage to the body of it that was caused by storm debris from Hurricane Ivan. The dealership chose to sell off the damaged vehicles at a discount rather than paying to repair them. Both of our vehicles are pretty dependable. Thankfully, we don't have to worry too much about repairing them constantly. I found out a long time ago that it is better to go ahead and get rid of one when it starts to screw up all the time rather than to keep pumping money for repairs into a lost cause...LOL

On the contrary...I am up to my a$s in debt, but my wife and I live too far from our jobs to walk to work, and our area has no bus service out this far, so we have to have our own way to get around. I would love to be able to cut back to just one vehicle, but our schedules are so much different that this is not an option either, so I just have to pay for two cars. Hopefully, we will be able to pay BOTH of them off when we get our tax return back in March. The other car was given to me by a friend from work. It is not in working order, and it needs a lot of repairs. My plan is to get it fixed for the kid to drive when she gets her license. I don't have to make any payments on it, but right now, it is just taking up space in my yard.
