Not for me anyway....... Mum and Mel's Plan fell through yesterday of what they where going to do, which I thought was great as I was not going to be on my own, but...... and I mean a big BUT Mel got bored, I was sitting next to her on the Settee, she said that I smell, Mum said I don't, Mel insisted that I do, now if Mum thought so she would have put me in a Bath as she does. Mel was still determent that I smelled, the next thing I know Mel said that horrible word Bath, well I was gone and straight under Mum's Bed, but then the Ham came out and I can not resist my Ham, before I knew what was happening Mel got me and OH NOOOOOOOOOO I was in the Bath, not impressed at all. Mel bathed me.........yuk. Ok it cooled me down a bit, but I did not need a Bath Well if that was not enough, Mum then spiked my Hair and of course they thought it was funny, just like the other Day in the Park, Mum took Pictures but I made it very hard for her as I was so mad at them both specially as they where laughing at me I mean Mel was bored so I had to have a Bath...........she still insisted that I had smelled, but I know I hadn't, then Mum thinks it funny to spike my Hair on my Head how much more can a Dog take I got my own back though, last Night I scratched Mel's arm ...... well she got in my way digging for my Chewy Then I tripped Mum in the Kitchen as I was following her everywhere ........ it's ok she did not fall this time, but she did say ' Gissi, will you stop getting between my Feet, go and see Mel' No I didn't want to see Mel, so I sat behind Mum, hehehehe I got a Chewy out of it as Mum knew I would run of with that Ok I will attach a Photo with what Mum did to me Has anyone ever done this to you????? I have to ask this ....Gissi

There is someone at our house who would agree with you, baths are for dirty humans and not for the well kept dog. Sadie hates water, as a hound she knows that unless you are chasing prey you should never go near the water, it will ruin your dignity and even your life forever.

I do wish you would stay out from under Mum's feet you worry me as you could both get hurt :( Auntie Faith can't be there to take care of you as much as she would like to... Actually had a good laugh a few weeks ago. Got to visit with friends I hadn't seen in over 20 years so we had a bunch to catch up on but spent a lot of time 'remember when'... One was the day my friend ratted my hair all up, everyone was always saying I looked like Phillis Diller (comedian) so we fixed my hair like hers. Friend's oldest sister was napping on sofa and I tried to wake her up with my 'new hair-do'. She didn't wake but when she did said she dreamed about Phillis Diller - we all remembered that day and laughed all over again.

Gissi, I think the big problem is that humans have a different sense of smell than us. I'm lucky, I don't get a bath, I get put in the shower, and I quite enjoy that. Especially at the end when I'm back out, I give a great big shake, and everyone gets soaked (I usually manage to take them unawares). Trouble is, once I've had the shower I don't like the smell, so I try and get outside as quick as possible so I can roll in the ground and recover my natural scent. Ps I think you look real cool in your photo. Paws for thought!!

Hi Eskimo good to see you again I gave the big Shake to but because I am so little it does not have the affect I have a Shower but I just do not like anything to do with wet, Mum never lets me out as we have no Garden anyway but even when we did have the Garden she wouldn't so I have to put up with the Sissy smell, as Mum showers me with Conditioner on advise on the Vet

no, my meowmy doesn't bathe me, but I'm a CAT and cats seldom smell however, the other roommate bathed the dogs - hee hee and they did smell, and they itched, and because it was so hot! well, they still smell, but my nose is better than meowmy's Taj

Oh dear Gissi. I do believe Mel might have been getting her own back for the boxes you christened for her! ha ha ha. Never mind... it must feel better to have a bath, even if you didn't particularly need one. It stops the dust in your fur itching and all. As for Mum, spiking your hair, you're lucky that's all she did. She could have tied some pretty blue bows in it... then where would you have been? he he. I think you'd have been under the bed in a shameful sulk! It's only a bit of fun, like when you bark to get Mum's attention, and the like. Take care, li'l man... things could be much worse. Lighten up and have some fun with them! Huggggggs. Auntie Darkwing xx

Oh dear Gissi, you dirty dogs do hate water, don't you? Didn't Mum tell you that the only thing good for dogs is a nice, long bath? This reminds me that Tina needs a bath too. She literally stinks. Ever since the baby arrived, I wasn't able to give Tina a regular bath. Not that she minds stinking. She loves it! And nopes dear, nobody gave me a bath. I do it myself, LOL!! And of course, I have no hair all over my body that can be spiked. :) And I wouldn't dare spike the hair on my head. I would look comical. Why don't you ask Mum to try it out? And tell me what she says? LOLOLOL!! Cheers and happy Mylotting

Hi Gissi, Tom and Baby here, oh you do look cute, don't you like baths Gissi, we do and we are not supposed to, I bet Mel is having fun with you while she is there, humour her, thats the best thing and its not nice to be spiked but you do look lovely,"yeah, its me Baby, mum sometimes try to put ribon round me and I don't like it and just takes it off, I'm going for my nap now Gissi, nite nite." Tom here, she is tired, well try not to get under your mum's feet as I did that and mum stood on my pwa, it hurts, not nice, but mum got a habit of towing and roing, sometimes I don't know where she is going, but got to be careful, well speak to you soon and lots of licks. Tom

Hi Gissi! Star & Luna here! Awwww, you poor thing! Your Mum and Mel made you take a bath! We hate to get wet! We had a bath once and we were so upset! We scratched Mom up and she didn't give us one ever again! She knows kittys don't like water! We don't remember why she gave us the bath, but we hope we won't ever have to do that again! Sometimes when we do something bad Mom will squirt us with the water bottle thing! We don't like that either! So we run really fast and Luna hides! We thought you looked cute with your Punk Hair! Well, sorry you had to go through all that! But, at least you got to cool off and smell pretty! Oh no, Mom's coming! Better get off her chair! Take care Gissi! We will talk to you again soon! Love, Star & Luna
