why women need many shoes and bags? any opinions? men opinion are welcome

I personally love lots of bags and shoes and yes they are expensive but, I can't help myself sometimes when I see all these lovely bags and shoes. I love to match the shoes and bags with the different outfits i have. I love to see when women do it. Its called fashion I guess. Sometimes I buy the bags on sale use them and all sell them back so, at times I profit of the bags. Hope this answer helps

women love to shop a lot and tend to buy too many bags and shoes. well, the reason is quite obvious. there are a variety of dresses that women can opt for. when there is so much available then women also go for them. with every dress they need a different kind of foot wear. sometimes high heels, sometimes sneekers and so on. then the various colours should also match. same is the reason for bags. women use different bags for different occasions and places. even the colour of the bags must match with the colour of the foot wear. so women tend to shop more and stay with the fashion.

as a woman I like my shoes to match with my purse but I do not buy more than I can afford ever. am now stuck in orthopedic shoes so am unable to shop for pretty shoes. we like to have some changes but a lot of women who probably have more money than sense go way overboard on the whole thing. I like to stay within my budget at all times. we dont need them we just want them ha ha.

Hi! I'm a man. You know there is a word (disease) for this kind of weakness; I just can't remember it. Why women loves to shop till they drop beats me...I can somehow observe my mom on how she loves color pairing when it comes to shoes and bags & dresses. She doesn't stop on the simple color of brown but she has several shades of brown- from lighter to darker shade. Of course, it has to go with a matching shoes or sandals. The only colors she settles for one are black and white. I guess women goes to this kind of intricateness because they love to look good. When they feel they look good they feel more confident and it will somehow gives them a positive aura...I hope...My dear, I have one word for this - VANITY!

I know why women have so many shoes,and if you don't and your a women be lucky. Shoes are our escape.A lot of times clothes don't fit food makes you only fater but shoes always fit.

Variety : Women feel that they cannot simply were the same shoe everyday. That goes for the bag too. They need a change. Their shoes and bags need to match their outfit and their outfit(total costume) needs to match their activities and lifestyle. After all, you can't wear open toe sandals if you are going hiking in the canyons now can you? Plus, variety is the spice of life. 2. Style : Women think that they need to look good(stylish i.e., up to trend) or look hot or more comfortable. see what i mean? They need different styles for different looks. 3. Good Deal : Women are born shoppers. It is a true talent(cannot disagree to it) and no true shopper can turn down a good deal on a pair of shoes. This is one reason why discount stores are running good. 4. Comfort : High heel shoes look great but, they really hurt the tootsies. Most women i know alternate between high heels and flats. You know what that means...more shoes. and you can tell even more reasons but being a boy i could identify only these

I think it's stupid to spend that much money on a bag and things that go on your feet. Ok depending on jobs yes fancy shoes are necesary but to go to the mall and you have to have a pair of shoes and a purse that much just to go buy more. I mean come on. Theres people out there that don't have shoes to wear at all and yet these rich folk go out and buy whatever they want and as many as they want and it's just rediculous. To a lot of girls everything has to match so I guess that's how they inquire so many bags. Me myself have quite a few pairs of shoes but over half of them were given to me. If you're one of those people that just have to buy and buy and buy don't keep your old shoes and bags. Go to good will or a thrift store and donate all the old stuff you don't use. Other people can use them.

Its a mystery wrapped in an enigma.... Why do women have to tote around so much stuff in their bags? Another female mystery.

Hi neelianoscet I had been observed that mostly ladies are fun of collecting different classess of bags. May because its part of their lifetyle and ETHNICAL FASHION in mingling with friends so that they have many bags to choose with to MATCH with their dressess in every occassion that they will be attending usually. What do you think my friend is it party correct?

guess i'm the far and few in between, i own less than ten pairs of shoes, including my jogging shoes and work shoes and slippers. i use the same bag for most days and i only have two other bags. to me, the quantity is not as important as the quality. i don't mind using the same thing day in day out as long as it last. however, i mind using something that will give way when i'm outside. so i'd rather save my money and pay for something good rather than buy many many that spoils very soon.

I'm a woman, and personally, the thought of spending all day long clothes-shopping bores me out of my mind. lol I've never been one to willingly shop for new clothes unless I really, really needed them; being fashionable just isn't my thing. When the occasion calls for it, I'll dress up, but just to dress up for the heck of it? Nope...not gonna do it. I'm not trying to impress anyone, because really...if someone only likes you because of what you wear, or what purse you have and how much it costs, is that person really a friend?

i consider it as fashion. i think women are most interested in varieties than men. they are fond of changes.

Its very simple, we do wear differnt types of dress, and with different dresses we do need matching shoes and bags. Also the color, you can't take a red bag with blue dress, colors also need to be matched. Also we need to have some common shades too, that's goes well with all dress, and all occassions. Yep different ocassions too need different sets of hand bags and shoes. And so we finally end up having a quite of them..

I think the women like to change.The women are fast boring and like to go the same time the changing of fashions.Some women such as me like to buy the sale bags or shoes sometime i didn't plan to buy, but when i saw the sale may be i bought immediately.You ever did or not.

I'm certainly never been a shopaholic, I only tend to buy things like clothes when I really need them. As for bags? I design my own tote bags and they last for years...LOL...so I guess I do have a "designer" bag....heehee. Anyway, I'm on a budget so can't go nutsy buying a lot of clothes or shoes/bags in general

Hello neelianoscet, I was a shopaholic before. I spent like no tomorrow. But after getting married, my priorities changed and I no longer spent like no one business anymore Husband really good at controlling my spending expenditure. I love to look good and so, I loved to buy anything that look good to me. The bad thing is that I was an impulse buyer too but very lucky that I am not into branded stuff too much. I don't follow trend and anything that looks attractive to me, I will buy. When I was in my 20's (right after graduating and started working) I loved to have many shoes with different colors and patent to wear to office, not to wear the same clothes at least in a month (so, need to buy many clothes though...) and a handbag must be the same color with the shoes or at least different patent from the ones that I used in a week and not to forget about all the skin care products to try on, the make up sets and etc! When I think of it now, I feel like I wasted too much on this and if I don't, I definitely can buy another nice house or car for myself!

It's like a sort of disease, you know. Women wants something new always even if they have a lots of those things already in their shoe rack or cabinet. They love bags, shoes/sandals, dress , you know, they make their life happy with those things. I always go with my sister when we go out together for a shop. I fell tired and bored with her because she is always choosing something new for her which is in fact a tons of it in the house. It's just a waste of money I told her and she listened to me. lol

Hello Neelianoscet, I am a male and I never understood this fact. May be women and girls want to decorate themselves all the time and they want to look good. Even we men want to look good but we don't go around shopping for everything that matches with everything we wear, like sunglasses, shoes, clothes, etc. It is just about the perception. May be they think they should not repeat their clothes in a month or something.. not sure.. LOL

Women are fashionable than men. They have lots of accessories to choose from compare to men. Most of them want to be always extravagant even in its simple way. They love shopping or even window shopping. They can't decide for a certain clothes right away. They need to roam around and fit them one by one ending up to buy everything they'd just fit. The clothes and shoes should always be color coordinated up to the bags and accessories.

we girls love to look pretty with those bags, shoes, make ups, dresses, jewelries etc.. to look pretty of course, and to let boys look at us with those things.. me also love to collect those things, it just makes me feel a real women.. and i know it sounds annoying buying a lot of those things everyday.. lol..!!
