I'd go with the small dog, such as Mini-pinscher. Probably looking for dogs that don't shed too much hair. I know few kids who are allergic to some kind of hair off the dogs or cats. It's so hard to clean up around the house with hair every where. That depends on your cleanliness in the house. I'd go with the dogs that don't shed that much hair.

tHE DOG TO BUY WHEN PEOPLE R IN A SITUATION like yours is a type of dog that gets along with everyone. Spaniel ie. Cocker, Springer, Britany. Labridor retriever, Golden retriever etc.. It's really hard to say what kind of dog u prefer. There is 265 different breeds to pick from. Different sizes, types, colours, hunting, working, sight, scent I could go on n on. There r pets, show , security, mixed breeds, the question and answer is all in the above and some I forgot to mention or didn't know about. When you see the dog u want u will know, n fall in luv with.. Just remember to train the lil thing that will grow up to be a bigger thing.. REMEMBER ALWAYS LUV/ CARE FOR YOUR DOG/ PET, THEY WILL ALWAYS LUV U..

I would suggest a Golden Retriever cuz theyre very intelligent and very family friendly., except for the hair of the dog though

maybe just the cute dog like labrador or st. bernard maybe? Those are safe for your children.
