Please Tell Me About Your Favourite Coffee Cup!!

I have two favourite coffee cups. Well more than two, but one belongs to a set of dishes, where there are many matching cups. One favourite cup is the mug that my friend, who owns a Second Cup cafe gave me, just before I went to Arizona for half a year. It was so nice to have my Second Cup coffee mug, a little something from home. My other favourite, the one from the set, is a cup and saucer that is white with a very wide red border, and a thin gold border on the very edge. The cup is white on the bottom and red on top with the gold border, and the saucer is white in the middle, red around the outside, with gold on the edge. My Morfar (Danish for Mom's Dad) helped me choose those dishes when I first moved in here, and red and white are very popular colours in Denmark, because of the Danish flag. Now let me hear about your favourite coffee cup.

I also have two favorite coffee cups although I don't even drink coffee LOL But I used them for tea or milk. One was my mom's and I brought it over when I came to Canada. It's white with some blue sea themed decorations and it was bought in my favorite beach back home. The other one was given to me by a student it is personalized with a picture she made and it says something that I don't remember right now. I love the picture so it's what I remember :)

Those sound like awsome cups, regardless of what you put in them.

coffee cup - Greek diner coffee cup
My favorite is this ceramic version of the classic NYC Greek diner paper coffee cup. I get quite a few double-takes because it looks so much like the real thing. It's actually not the most practical coffee mug because it doesn't have a handle, but I like the design a lot. I got it at the gift shop at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC.

My favorite coffee cup is a latte-style cup with a penguin on the side. A chilly penguin serving me a hot beverage makes me smile every morning.

I don't drink coffee, or anything else for that matter out of a coffee cup, so I don't have a favorite. The only time I really use a coffee cup is when I'm having cookies & milk so I can dunk the cookies & not have a tall glass of milk with cookie crumbs left when I'm done! Now my husband, he has some sort of thing for certain coffee cups. We have the ones that came with our dishes & those are the only ones he'll use. I think we only have 2 of the 4 left. We have a couple other coffee mugs & he won't use those. I don't know his reason. All I know is that he'll search for one of the ones he likes every morning. He'll usually find one out on the back patio where he left it from the previous morning.

LOL That's hysterical. Remind me not to let him anywhere near my favourite set of dishes, if those cups are constantly breaking. LOL What do your dishes look like? I mentioned my red, white and gold ones. I also have a set that are off-white with red, yellow, and blue tulips in the middle, and a third set which is powder blue border with gold designs and a white middle (my Mom's old dishes). I love them all, and get pissed when Hubby breaks one. LOL What's John going to do when he breaks the last coffee cup?

Just like with our silverware, we keep saying we are going to buy another set of dishes before they stop making that pattern so we will have more. We only have a 4 place setting of each. And for some reason, most of our spoons have ran away! Our dishes are square & they are a deep orange, lighter orange/yellow & then a yellow. There is like the dark color in the upper left corner, then the medium color next to that & the lighter on the bottom part. They are hard to explain. I tried to find them on the JC Penny website, but they are not on there anymore.

I, too, have more than one, the first is a black mug with a black cat silhouetted and the eyes showing, the other is a giraffe mug, where the head and neck make the handle, very pretty

i just have a big plastic one with wolves on it. it was one of those trip sip type mugs originally, but i got it because i hate those tiny ones.it holds more, and i don't have to get up as much when i'm working. only downside is it cools off pretty fast in winter.it wasn't made for one of those cup cozies.

I don't drink coffee, but my favorite cup is a clear one with sunflowers on it. I use it when I want to drink some tea.

My fave mug is one that I got from when I was working at a previous job...There are not too many people that have them including people that work there...I don't know why it's my fave cup but my rule is that NOONE is allowed to use it but me.

I guess my favorite mug is one that a school gave the debate coaches at a tournament. It's just a simple mug with their school symbol on the outside. I can't even tell you why it is my favorite one except that it's just the right shape and size.

I have Arzberg TRIC coffee mug which I bought it last years, I got the offers just the right cup for every taste. I have fun mixing and matching with TRIC's saucers. I have another one very nice and beautiful i.e. 2-Tone Colored Coffee Mug with a two inch fine pewter USC Trojans applique attached. Mug is 3 3/4' tall. I just love the shape and size..I have another black colored cup which is a matching set of officially licensed 15oz black ceramic coffee mugs decorated with a hand-crafted team logo. My husband like this cup a lot..I too
