To you, which religion is the most scientific? I think ISLAM as it based on Holy Quran which can explain everything from the start to the end of life. But, you may deffer from my opinion. So, lets make a scientific argument without attacking other religion

Islam. Just look at the holy book Al Quran and compare it with science like here: http://islammyreligion.wordpress.com/200… The Miracles of Al Qur’an and Modern Science It is true that Al Qur’an is a miracle from God. How come? Many Al Qur’an verses that were sent down in 7th century where science was not developed yet (many people thought the earth is flat and the Sun revolves arount the Earth) fit with the Modern Science. For example look at the verses below: Heaven and Earth used to be one “Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were of one piece, then We parted them, and We made every living thing of water? Will they not then believe?” [Al Anbiyaa:30] At that time, no one know that Heaven and earth were one at the beginning. But later in the 20th century the Modern Science such as Big Bang Theory stated that Heaven and earth were one. Then separated like now. Also it is true that every living form, including one cell plant contains water and need water. The existence of water is a sign of the existence of living form in a planet. Without water there is no life. This is the truth from Al Qur’an. In Al Qur’an stated that the Sun and the Moon each move in certain orbit. “And He it is Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. They fload, each in an orbit.” (Al Qur’an, 21:33) In other verse stated that the Sun is not stand still. Yet it moves in a certain orbit. ”And the Sun runs in its orbit. That is the measuring of the Mighty, the Wise” (Al Qur’an, 36:38) The Expanding Universe In the Al Qur’an that sent down 14 centuries ago when the Astronomy was still immature, the Expanding Universe described as follow: “We have built the heaven with might, and We it is who make the vast extent (thereof).” (Al Qur’an, 51:47) According to Al Qur’an, the heaven extended/expanding. That is the knowledge acquired today by Modern Science.

I am sorry to dissapoint you, but Islam is the MOST unscientific religion in the world. It says: 1. Earth is FLAT - Every single verse describing earth calls it 'FLAT' like a mat-spread out. Not a single one calls it round - Some people claim that Quran says earth is EGG shaped. But the world 'dahaha' means 'expanded' and not 'ostrich-egg' shaped. - It uses nearly 10-15 different arabic words meaning FLAT to describe earth in different verses - Even if it meant ostrich egg, the earth is NOT shaped like an ostrich egg. It is just the opposite - it is FLATTENED at the poles (not elongated) 2. Sun revolves around the earth - You yourself have quoted a verse above saying how 'sun runs in an orbit' - It says - sun and moon run in an orbit around the earth and never collide - Not a SINGLE verse talks about the rotation or revolution of earth (again meaning, earth was stationary & sun and moon revolve around it) - It says, somebody went to the 'edge of earth' (again meaning a flat earth that has an edge) - and found the sun setting in a muddy pool 3. Saying heaven & earth were together or that he has 'expanded' the earth - DOES NOT MEAN any Big-Bang-Theory - Firstly your quran says - there are 7 heavens stacked on top of each other (again supporting the flat-earth theory and 7 heavens on top of it). So what do you mean when you say - heaven & earth were together? Where are those 7 heavens now? What about the various stars, galaxies and other planerary objects? They are not 'EARTH' 4. Science of Embryology in Quran is Completely FALSE & Inaccurate - The sperm does NOT turn into a blood clot - A single sperm is required, not a 'small quantity' of sperm. In a small quantity of sperm there are millions and billions of sperms - It does not form into any leech like substance - Bones are NOT formed first and then flesh - The bones formed first was copied from Aristottle, who also said the same thing - Even Zakir Naik in a debate unable to defend this accepted - they match in appearence and not in actuality (i.e zygote LOOKS LIKE a blood clot - which is stupid, and then it looks like a leech or a chewed lump) - And it only gives a 4-bit information on embryology - which is not that detailed or advanced anyway. It was something that could have easily been common knowledge 5. Basic sceince of water-cycle - Does not mention evapouration of water anywhere in the 'water cycle' Compare that to Hinduism and it will blow your mind. Here is a sample of what hinduism has predicted: - Earth is round and flattened at the poles - Earth appears flat because: a 100th path of a circle's circumference appears to be flat. So as we look at a small part of the big earth - it appears FLAT to the human eye - Earth revolves around the earth - Earth also rotates on its axis - Day & night are caused by rotation and seasons caused by revolution - Sun NEVER sets, there is always day on the other side of the earth - Planets revolve around the earth because of the gravitational pull of the sun (which is bigger) - Planets revolve around the sun in an eliptical path and their speed is inversely proportional to their distance from the sun - Moon revoles around the earth - Moon does not have its own light, but borrowed from the sun - The sunlight has 7-rays - Days and nights are 6-months long at the poles - Sun is a star, and there are such stars all around us - The height of the atmosphere is 60 miles - Tides are caused because of the expansion or contraction of water in relation to the moon - Solar eclipse is caused by the moon coming between the sun and earth - Sky only appears blue because of scattered sunlight - Atmosphere acts as a protective layer for the earth - Water cycle: For 8 months, sun attracts water and then causes rain - There are overlapping currents in the ocean and atmosphere - just like there are nerves in the body - Detailed stages of embryo development - along with time-line on how long it takes for head, hands, legs, hips, brain, eyes & ears etc to develop - The exact length of a year (365.XX) days - Value of pi And much much more... Now that is what is called 'REAL SCIENCE'...

NO religion is scientific or else nobody would believe. There is no scientific evidence to prove any religion in it's entirety. Religion is based on a leap of faith. So, you overlook the lack of scientific evidence or lack therof and BELIEVE without PROOF. Science is PROOF, undeniable and indisputable. That is why so many religions spar and fight and argue, because none are proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

I see that you didn't include Judaism in your discussion, and you should have, because Judaism have been out there before either Islam or Christianity. Also, the jews have developed many scientific discussions in their religion such as how many stars are out there, or how much time the world have existed, so my opinion is: Jewish religion...

Believing that science has all the answers is also very dangerous. I'm a biologist and I know very well science's limits. Science can't help you right now since it has very few answers, but a good representation of reality. It isn't exact, but helps in several domains to have a control on nature and perform some predictions and matter/energy transformations. The scientific reductionist approach to discover, organize and summarize knowledgde isn't sufficient to understand an entire process or something as a whole. It is the aim/search to better our life, and consequently better society, that differentiates Human from the other animals... By the way, what's your question? :-)

Buddhism is, although it's not as much a religion as 'the big three' are---as it does not specify a God. (Oh, a Buddha is its leader, and followers bow to him, -obey his commands & -praise him higher than anything on Earth; but he doesn't claim to be Almighty or Omnipotent or Omnipresent, that I know of.) Science is not so much about 'knowing the answer' as it is about 'finding the answer' (as seen in Psychology ). Buddhism--particularly Nichiren Buddhism--is about finding the answer the best way there is to find an answer ... by 'listening' (the meaning of the syllable Nam in Nichiren Buddhism's usual chant, Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo).

Religions are based on belief, not science. I think that calling a religion scientific is an oxymoron.

for me it is Christianity.hey!please check out the spelling on your topic.its wrong..now the reason behind why i believe is simply because there is nothing extraordinary or impossible that is written in the bible.anything like that which i s written is something done by god or Jesus and we do expect miracles from god.there are some instances in the old Testament which are not scientific but who knows what all happened in 100 BC and so.for scientists can't do a research on it.

i am sorry but your question cannot be considered as appropriate. everyone would consider his/her own religion as being most scientific. the only one who could answer your question should be an expert in all religions on equal terms. i wonder if such a person exists. hindu ism is the oldest existing religion and if its mythology is to be believed the kind of equipments they used do not exist even today. the stories from other religions seem more realistic. but then who knows ?

hello friend i would like to answer your question one thing we should note that and it is real that everyone follows everyones religion we do inculcate in ones value and we should not forget every religion may have got the different scientific method the dialect may be different but the final answer obtained by that question will be same so it is amazing to know that they may have a different content but they do have a same qualities or answers they provide us with same preachings but your answer will be cause our religion is work and guess it is everyones man so we do tend to follow a same scientific and guess what the answer is "work " is most scientific have a nice day

i think CHRISTRAN, not for her rules or characteristics, but for the many proof that offer to substain it, like a scentific method or teory. but in contrast there are too many methaphisic elements (few of them in accord with science)
