I don't know about you and glasses. But I have been wearing glasses since I was 3 years old! Yes, I have been poking my finger in the middle of my nose for 51 years. I don't know when you had the misfortune of buying a new pair of glasses, but they will put you in debit. I am writing this discussion to help everyone out today. I have found a great website. It is a dot com company. They have hundreds of beautiful frames and lenses for your every eye wear need. They have designer frames, plastic frames that start at $7.95 with FREE single vision lenses. And bi-focals are only nineteen dollars. So for under 30 dollars you can have that much need new pair of glasses. You can even get wire frame glasses for 24.95. Just give me a PM and I will give you the web address and the referal number I already use. Please if you work with Church groups that help needy people get glasses this is a great place to do it. All you have to do is have the perscription from the eye doctor and they can do the rest. The photos are face big. I mean that when I put my glasses up to the photo to make sure the lense was round enough it was a big as my eye glasses. I just got my first pair and I love them

I have been wearing glasses since I was twelve and would feel naked with out them. I now wear trifocals. I got my last pair 5 years ago for $300 at walmart. It's past time for some new one. Maybe getting them where you got yours means I can afford to them soon.

It sounds like a good site, cookiecrumbles, and given the high price of a pair of glasses these days I'm sure that many of us would be happy to find such a service. I started wearing glasses in my early 40s when I discovered that I had to hold a page far from my face to actually read what was on it.When I mentioned this to my doctor he laughed and told me that it was time for me to get bifocals(which I did not find funny at all).I truly hate having to wear glasses, but I love to read more.

I have been wearing my glasses for about twenty years. I use to own a pair of contacts but I never grew to like it. So I've always stuck with glasses. Glasses are very accessable when needed then contacts. Contacts do make you look nice, I agree Godbless

I have my own pair eyeglasses and i had them when i was 20 yrs old. The doctor said that the cause was most probably because of my constant exposure to blue light from computers, cell pones, and television. Although i don't wear my glasses all the time, only when i feel like my vision is unbearably blurred.

Glasses are one serious pain in the butt. Lucky for me, I have one of the weakest prescriptions out there (-0.5). You really wouldn't think it, but glasses are so limiting! And don't even get me started on the prices. Yikes. Anyway, thanks for the heads up. I'll definitely look into this!

I only need glasses for reading, but really can't read much without them, so having my glasses is important for me. And you're so right.. the prices are incredible. Both my husband and my son have to wear glasses all the time, and they are so expensive. Thank you for telling us about that site. I will be sending you a pm, because specially with a teenager boy... I often need to replace his glasses :)

Is this an affiliate of the Lions Club? So what is it? Sounds great! I have to wear reading glasses but I also see a difference and know my days are numbered. The Lion's club here helps people by taking donations of old glasses and re-using them. This is a great thing. I am sure it will help many people.

I like you have been wearing eyeglasses all my life, and replacements have always cost way too much, (but all things medical do) even when I had the Vision Care Policy from work. But I just got a pair, hopefully they will last quite a while.
