Scribd or LuLu?

I love to write, especially stories and plays. I was considering starting to post work on Scribd, but then I read about LuLu. They're both sites for self-publishing. With LuLu there is the option of ISBN numbers, and everything but both you and the reader pay. With Scribd I had just planned to put in a few affiliates on every few pages like advertising in a magazine. What do you guys think?

I have heard good things about lulu. I dont know anything about scribd. I personally would go with lulu because I think they are better known and also they are a site that alot of people have used sucessfully. It is up to you as to what you are doing but I think you should defintely check out both of them thoroughly and then make a decision.

I write for Helium and Review Stream. Do your recommended sites pay any type of compensation without affiliates? Thanks for the links. I'll have to check them out. There's some good links my profile if you like writing as much as I do! Good luck in your journeys!

No, you would need to add your own links to the Scribd document but it can be anything you want. Short stories, etc... I know about Helium I've nver heard of Review Stream, I'll look it up.

Writing is my hobby since my high school days. I like writing articles, short stories, commentaries. I have been writing reviews for "Review Stream" for some time now. I am very happy with the program. One can write brief reviews on a variety of topics, things one comes across in the day-to-day activities, shopping, movies, restaurants, media, hotels, etc., and get paid when accepted and approved.
