I'm a really big fan of green day since I was 14 years old, and now that I'm 24 I still can't get enough of them. Their music is just awesome and would really hit you just like that. They're a genius.

The Greenday boys are really talented. I love their music. I didn't checked out the latest numbers but yes,I like the old ones..One is a good number..Some songs that are coming to my mind are Wake me up,Jesus of Suburbia,Holiday,Saints are coming,Boulevard of Broken dreams and American idiot.

Hey porkseller! Green Day's first released album is 1039/smoothed Out Slappy Hours under lookout records. It was released 1989 and I was still 4 years old then. A legend that's what the are. I don't really know their first song, as I was still young, but my favorite is Good Riddance and Basket case. Thanks for the response! Happy myloting!

Personally, I am a huge fan of Green Day. I think, though, that American Idiot was their worst record, just a fluke on their career, so I was at first skeptical of the newest album. But I gave it a try (I don't judge things before I experience them, of course) and it was spectacular. It sounds so good.
Basket Case is a great song, by the way! I also love She, Warning, and Hitchin a Ride. But all of their music is really good. I love the Little Girl from the new one (the second Viva La Gloria).
