Discussion or Question&Answer

I come across with a lot of discussion that only have a response and comment in one tread. Or even worse only a response without comment. And this type of question&answer are consist of 90% from total discussion here.
Do you prefer to give a response to the small number of discussion but you will come back to reply any comment by the creator. Or you prefer to answer a lot of discussion and don't have time to come back later.
What do you prefer? Share you choice and give your point.

Hi Akuler, I avoid the question and answer type that get no comments back from the original poster as it is not a discussion. Also if I get a friend request I will check back on discussions they have started and if they haven't commented back on their own previous topics I just delete them as they have misinterpreted the point of being on here. I also make a point of not responding again to posters who thank everyone for responding but don't actually comment. So if you can work it that way you are more likely to come across real discussions as you will have chosen your friends for their style and interests rather than a list of topics posted with no point.

Hi akuler, think it's time you can drop the 09
If I were you I'd have a regular cull of friends. I have taken one piece of advice from our mutual friend Mike and he keeps amidst his discussion one or two responses back so he has something to respond to when he thinks his discussions are winding down, so I've started doing that in case it's the wrong time of day or something.

Hi thea09,
I should do the same. I accepted everyone friend request before. But, I never respond to his/her discussion vice verse and that is no point to have a friends like that here. In real world, it is like you have a friend but never talk to them.
They said they want to make money here but they way they do it is reversed. Sometimes they receive 50-70 response but not commenting single one of it. That is really waste of chances to earn money. They should read the guidelines more.

. I also read about what mike said in your discussion about bringing up some old discussion. That is really helpful. I do it to some of my friends discussion.

Hi,
Just like you, some of my discussion also received one or two response. But i am still care about any updated response on the discussion, as it was raised by me. Everyday, when i visit mylot, i firstly care about the updated response on my discussion and then response to other discussion i am interesting in.

You also can revive your discussion by commenting it. Once you give a comment on your discussion, it would be appear at the top of your friends "friends started" tab and "interest" tab. If you can give any comment, just give a best response to one of your responses might help a little bit.

If am the starter of the discussion I will normally go back to my discussions to check whether anyone has counter commented on my comments. If I have something to say I will add something otherwise I just acknowledge by putting smileys. There are some responses that are thought provoking which needs us to give our views. This I will go on commenting until every reasoning is exhausted. It is quite challenging to interact with people who can provide a lot of grounds for a good and healthy debate.

Yeah ... that is what we suppose to do here. We should try to keep the discussion alive. In is not called discussion unless there is a few comment on one tread. But most people here forget about it or pretend to forget it. Keeping discussion alive also make us earn more since we can earn on every comment we gave.
Simply leaving the response without comment will earn us nothing and not giving a comment back will lose us something. But like you said, sometimes we have nothing else to say.

I read the discussion and response and give my opinion, when I get a comment I will be very happy, but most of the time I found most of discussions are only questions, it's hard to open to discuss, they are only let you give your answer, So the comment is only for thanks, not discuss with you. It's hard to find a good discussion to discussion.

You are right. Most of them only give a very short comment or even no comment at all. It is hard to keep the discussion if the starter didn't want it. They prefer to start thousands of discussion instead of coming back to give a comment and allowed it to be comment back. This is so sad to be happen here. We came here to discuss but end up with only answering a question. There is a lot of thing that we can get if we keep the discussion keep going on. We can earn and make a friends by doing it.

I whenever enter a discussion or give response to a disscussion ,99% times I don't come back to give my comment back.This is the reality I am saying to u and its almost true for 99% people here on Mylot

What a sincere response. So you just treat this as a question and answer, right? Not a discussion. But this will be bad for mylot because they want us to involve further in discussion. Anyway, that is your choice and I can't change it.

Hi skyhss,
Nice move to achieve that feature. But that will killed the discussion. Discussion should be longer that one or two post. Hijack others response maybe a good way to keep it alive. At least we don't have to crate a new tread and stop it at our first and only response.
