What is your favorite type of salad besides the regular green lettuce kind?

My mother-in-law makes an awesome pizza salad. Oh, I am craving it so badly right now. It is a cold noodle salad, that has Italian dressing on it. Then, she adds some chopped tomatoes, red onion and big chunks of mozzarella cheese. She tops it all off with croutons. Oh, it is delicious!!!

okay, I love potato salad, then I sometimes just make a cucumber salad and tomato and onion salad

I am not really in to pasta salads or anything like that. I pretty much only like regular salad. I do like it when they make a salad with blue cheese, walnuts, mandarin oranges, over greens, with a rasberry vinegerette dressing, I think that is really good, but it is something that I rarely ever get, I think it would really need to be made right though.

I love cole slaw, it has to be good though. The best I have ever had is from KFC, I don't eat their nasty chicken but they have great cole slaw. I've even ordered just by itself. I do like a good ceasar salad too, I know that they use different type of lettuce and its much greener than romaine.

I love most salads. I especially enjoy potato salads. I would rather have my potato salads with a little olive oil and vinegar, rather than mayonnaise. I also really like spinach salads and tuna salads. Ambrosia is one of my favorite fruit salads. I make it with pineapple, mandarin oranges, cherries, coconut, marshmallows and sour cream. It's delicious.

I have had some really good broccoli salads. I also like all kinds of bean salads, or meat salads, because you can use them as a meal. Egg salad makes good sandwiches. It is just really too hard to decide. I could start on various fruit salads as well.

I myself am rather fond of spinach salad. used to hate the stuff when i was a kid. but if you take regular spinach and mix it with baby spinach and a few other things it is SO good. I'm finding that im liking a whole lot of different kinds of lettuce and spinach type stuff and im always looking for something new.

My best favourite salad is smoked salmon caeser salad! I love this salad very much, when I see they have this choice in the menu when I order appetizer, I must order this one!

For me I love a good chicken salad with grilled chicken on top with frenchfries and Italian dressing. My other favorite is Steack salad with fries and French dressing ahh I can taste them now. mmmm food I am hungry LOL

Hi ladym, I've actually been using both red and red/black rather strangely shaped lettuce recently, I don't know if it has a different name as I've never seen it before but it goes really well as a salad with raw mushrooms and radishes with a little mayoniaise and oil mixed together. Also my red kidney bean with sliced red onions and oil goes down rather well with friends.

My favorite type of salad is ceasar salad. Chicken ceasar salad is really good. I don't like too much in my salad that normally wouldn't be in my salad. I like veggies and maybe a little bit of meat. I like chicken salad and potato salad but I'm not sure if I would like a taco or pizza salad. I'm curious about whether or not a shrimp ceasar salad would be good. I really like seafood and I wonder if it would be good in a normal salad like chicken is.

My Favorite Salad to Date is made with Spring Mix Lettuce and tuna with cherry tomatoes. Put Rosted sun dried tomato vinaigrette dressing on top and its AWESOME! And To drink you should drink Some unsweet peach tea on ice! Very Delicious!
