I'm with you. I don't think that there is a pasta dish that I don't like but anytime I see it on the menu, I have to have linguni with clams in red sauce. Of course, I'm a huge fan of clams but I like them with linguini and just plain steamed the best.

Pasta is delicious in so many ways, you can add it with just about anything & it will still taste great. Its filling for the intire family, keeps the kids happy! what makes the kids happy keeps the parents happy..lol My kids are always asking me to cook them their pasta meals. :o)

I have to have cheese in all my pasta dishes...well most of them anyway. To me pasta is best with a yummy cheese sauce or creamy sauce. Thats what makes them so nice. My kids love them also due to the sauces. Oh yeah cant forget the family pets they love pasta also..lol keeps us all happy :o)

Hello shazz, I'm not a huge pasta fan as it's always such a huge plate of food to get through but I do remember well a pasta dish I always used to order in an Italian restaurant which was really good every time but rather unusual. It was a ribbon taglitella with fresh salmon cooked in cream, with strawberries added. I've never seen it anywhere else but gosh it was good.

Hi thea, I have never heard of such a dish but it does sound unusually nice, strawberrys with pasta very strange mmmm its certainly different. Pasta is a good filling dish you dont need alot to get full. Thats probably why I like it so much also. Feeds me feeds the kids..lol

oh yeah, me too. I am actually a big fan of carbohydrates. 
My favorite would be lasagna and fettuccine carbonara. I love it's white milky sauce even if i am lactose intolerant.
