Haven't heard anything on the 'beer summit' today...any opinions?

so...they plan to meet again? Biden was there? What good did it accomplish? Any opinions folks?

Hi Debi !... There doesn't seem to be much out there on the meeting. I would be curious as to what was discussed. The only thing I could find was a blog written by Gates daughter on 'The Daily Beast" where she chooses to promote racism instead of actually commenting on the meeting. I agree with one of the posters in that this party was hosted simply to help Obama cover his gaff.

I guess that there are some people who followed that. I dont know if the summit was useful or not, but I think it was kind of an overblown issue that shouldnt have gotten as much attention as it ultimately garnared. I think that you are insightful to pick up on this story cuz most people aren't talking about it.

MOst people here will post something about Obama that is negative. Though I don't care for him as president, I will give credit where credit is due...and it was a good idea to bring the two parties together. I don't mind saying so when he's right...but he's still not a good president. lol
