I keep hearing the rumors that the Packers are interested in the ex-con! I don't think it is really true! If the rumor is true it would happen the Packers are going to have more of a circus then last year then with Brett Favre! I don't think this will happen! Any of the other 31 teams who might be interested in Vick would be taking a big risk! Vick hasn't played in over 2 years! He has to service a 6 game suspension! Vick wouldn't fit every offense! He's 29 and he might might not be the same player he was when he last played! Vick is a real big gamble and it will be interesting to see if anyone does take a chance on Vick!

I think it's just rumors. At least, I hope it's just rumors. Although, Vick seems to be linked to the Packers more than anyone else right now. I too, think it would be nothing but a giant fiasco. It would be a media circus in Green Bay, every day. It would certainly distract the team from football. I believe that Michael Vick should be given a second chance. He did something bad, he got caught and he paid for it. He served his time and is now a free man. He was given a punishment, and he served it. Now, the punishment should be over and he should be allowed to move on. However, most people will not let that happen. Now, having said all of that, I would still not want Michael Vick on my team. Not because of what he did in the past, but because what will happen in the future. First of all, he's suspended for the first six games, and it's hard to be part of a team when you're suspended. Second, because of the media. Green Bay is a small market team in a small town, and I'm sure the last thing they want is to be overrun with media. That would end up hurting more than helping. And lastly, the fans. Many of the fans would accept Michael Vick, but just as many would not. And for that reason alone, I'm not sure that Michael Vick would work on this team.

They have Aaron Rogers, why would they want to give up a known QB try one that has been out of the game for a couple of year? The Vikings might be interested.
