Yes after I take a shower I always put both lotion and deoderant on. It helps me not forgot, so I can be ready to go if I had to go anywhere later in the evening. It also keeps my skin smooth so I have no problem wearing shorts or skirts if I have to or want to.

For me, I always try my best to be consistent. If I remember it then I apply but most of the time when I'm in a hurry (which is always), I tend to forget about it. I know there are a lot of good things when applying lotion. So, that's something I have to commit from now on.

I do not use any kind of lotion, but if i need something for my skin if it feels dry i use only olive oil. It helps keep it soft and smooth.

I would bet that the coconut oil would also work good on your skin, I also use olive oil in my hair, I might try the coconut oil because it would add the extra benefit, of the nice smell

I have tried too but I'm also too lazy to do it everyday and I don't like the stickiness...so it's annoying to me getting dressed with a sticky body :(

There are certain times when I put lotion on after a shower and other times I don't. Normally when I take a bubble bath with bath oils. I like when I can make my skin feel nice and sily soft. My boyfriend likes it too.

Hi yelrihs, I haven't applied any body lotion after having shower for quite some time. The weather here is hot all the time. Washing away the sticky sweat I feel really fresh and relaxed. I hate my skin to be sticky again if using the body lotion. When having winter vacation in foreign country we would apply body lotion after having shower. This could prevent the skin from feeling itchy Happy posting

yelrihs I use a lotion wash that is scented and rinses off in the shower leaving your skin so smooth and scented with the scent' of star jasmine. It is not at all sticky but nourishes your skin as it cleanses. I also use Suave body lotion with lavender and vanilla scent as it soaks right into my skin, its not sticky and it makes your skin feel so good and smells just wonderful I use it at night as Lavender helps me to sleep better.

Yes, all the time, because water, while taking a bath, can practically diminished skin's natural moisture making our skin dry and irritated, to regain the moisture lost, we must apply lotion, even dermatologists advised this ritual.

I use lotion after shower, whether in out or just at home, any kind of lotion, milk lotion, scented lotion, imported lotion, to make it silky and soft and fresh feeling.

Eh, I don't like using lotion... D; I agree with the others who say its sticky, and it makes me feel more gross than moisterized. My skin doesn't dry out very easily though so I hardly ever need it anyways, but I can't imagine having to put that stuff on all the time.

i did not do it before, but i found it better to apply lotion after shower. so now i have been trying to apply it. i admit that sometimes i am lazy to do it, but it does reduce the chance of your skin getting too dry especially during winter time.

Yup. i always do, if not my skin gets so dry I can't stop scratching. I used to scratch until I bled. I would wake up in the morning stuck to the sheets. Yup, I apply lotion to every part of me that I can reach.
