There will be another world war...and I'll take fire for this I know. But it is fact. WWIII will be the last war....and it will be fought in the mid east. And God himself will put a stop to it. Armeggedon is a real place and it will be a real war.

Debra, Paul's letters to early churches did say, no or less, to Judge not Least yee be judged. As I interpret his words this is regarding different Faith and Practices of God. Back then he was Eldering early Church communities who were saying: we're right and everyone else is wrong. It is a real relief to read that you are not trying to "rush" Armagedden. I occasionally watch the Christian-Right channels & some of these people are terrifying. Personally as a Christian, I ask myself: What would Jesus do? He made it clear to Peter who tried to get Jesus to choose a military solution to Rome that War was NOT THE WAY. I gotta go too. Be Blessed, friend.

Revelation is very clear that there will be an actual Armeggedon. I do not say I want it to be soon, or for it to even happen at all. But events do seem to be stacking up for it to happen. Why does it sadden you that I believe this way? It is not as if I think we should speed up the coming of such a thing...which by the way the president of IRAN feels and actively works towards...the Muslims have their prophecies too. I have to go to work in a few minutes...I will look for you over at religion tonight when I return.

Judge not...lest you be judged. If you look at the original language it means Do not condemn...or you might be condemned as well. Only God has the right to say...that's it! ENOUGH..I'm done. As humans we are all in the same boat. In need of mercy and forgivness. Therefore...we are not to judge someone as having gone to far. Only a righteous and Holy God can do that. WE ARE TO DISCERN, which is translated as "judge" too. We can look at a given situation, or a persons behavior and deem it as 'wrong' or 'sin'. But we are to always keep in mind that we are prone to the same failings and beware lest we fall too. That is why we have laws, courts, and juries. If we were to never judge...how would we have law and order?

Oh, Steve! How horrible the thought is! Of course there can be no winners. There would probably be no survivors. If there were, I'd surely pity them, living among the destruction and radioactive dangers! Joanne

Yes Joanne, WWIII would be terrible. It can, it must be avoided. Movements all over the world must stop it and remove the occasion for war. I believe that this current world recession have been deliberately contrived by the rich who are addicted to power and want more wealth and are gleeful over their power and capacity to blame the power for dying...

Personally, I am agnostic when it comes to prophesy but I certainly have faith... Jesus was a great prophet... For those who believe in prophesy, perhaps WWII was the Armageddon? There are so many conflicting points in the Bible, they cannot all be true. It has been many years since I studied those conflicts. A big one associated with Revelations, is the Second coming of Christ. Yes Jesus told his disciples he would return in their time... Then the immaculate conception of Jesus was supposedly being the fulfillment of Old Testament prophesies being the son of the Abraham Tribe, if I have it right. Whatever the Tribe, it was Mary's husbands Tribe not hers. Now, if Jesus was conceived in the conventional way by Joseph? Jesus fulfills. If Jesus is due to Immaculate conception, since Mary was not from "the Tribe" he's not... Gotta, gotta go. This is on the fly... Not time to look up and quote line and verse...

Why is it that the messenger gets shot for the contents of the message. How is it that God has been warning mankind of the dangers of sin and rebellion since the garden of eden...and man refuses to listen...and then we all act surprised when those actions bring us to the brink of anhilation? You will notice that I also believe God will step in and STOP it from anhilating the entire human race.

I don't believe that anyone will technically "win" a third world war and I also see several different scenarios that could bring some unlikely countries together as allies depending on who starts it with whom. For instance, Egypt...while not openly supportive of Israel...is happy to allow Israel's ships and submarines clear passage through the Strait of Hormuz in order to be able to take out Iran's nuclear facilities quicker should that become necessary. China is not thrilled with North Korea's actions of late either. I also believe that the awareness these smaller rogue countries have that the larger, more powerful ones will work together if threatened helps to keep them in check.

Yes, there are lots of what-ifs. To me the biggest, that you have not mentioned, is Iran. Look at a map, Afghanistan on the East and Iraq on the West, and the USA are occupying both. If my bullying country, the USA, wants to start a two-front war with Iran today they could... Functionally the entire Middle East portion of the Oil Cartel are being menaced... The Army joke I've heard for removing our troops from Iraq is through Iran...

You have to ask China what the master plan is! It won't be violent, it'll be total economic! tdemex

All I can say that another world war will destroy all of us. Weapons are too sophisticated and powerful nowadays and put to use they will annihilate what is there. I don’t think you can win a war, survive it maybe, but not come out a winner...

I mostly agree. It is a big planet... Obviously the bullies in charge and controlling most of the nuclear weapons disagree with you. And the have their fingers in the trigger... Most scientists agree that all the dust would trigger the Next Ice age. I doubt if many people who worry about Global Warming want a WWIII "solution" to their hot problem. I have been locked out of myLot for reasons unknown, but I back. Thank you for the response.
