Well Someone just replied to my post from a few months ago, I notice that they don't let your old post get seen, They are using your most resent post. like it you posted, last year or last month, Mylot is only using present disscussions. Have anyone noticed this I have. There is no reason this should get deleted? I don't think? Have a nice weekend!

Wow. Really? I have not noticed this because I do not post many discussions anymore. I wander what happens to the best response for those posts then if they are only showing the most recent ones? Oh, I see, they are only showing recent discussions instead of old ones. That is kind of weird. I guess they just want to keep them up to date here, which is kind of good because I do not want some of my old ones here anymore anyway.

Yeah, I guess that is kind of good! I don't think people were giving best responses anyway. I think they should of announce it though don't you?

I guess I was wrong, or it was some Glitch like it is sometimes.

Hi Marcia, I wrote to mylot about this "upgrade", and it's been fixed. Or at least it should be. Go to your page of discussions that you've started and you should see that it's back to the old way now. But if it's not, be sure to let me know. Thanks! Happy mylotting!

I haven't noticed this at all. I'm still going through back notifications that I get when my friends start discussions, and I have almost 1,000 friends on here, so I don't have time to see what is and is not available. Occasionally I'll get one that is no longer available, but MyLot probably did that for other reasons, since the former discussion didn't sound like it would have fallen outside of the guidelines.

The amount of memory storage that myLot uses must be staggering. I can easily see why old discussions have to be purged once in a while, just to have the site run more efficiently. I haven't looked to see if it's been done, but I wish they'd streamline the interests. There is a lot of unnecessary duplication, even within each group.

Some people will go back and dig in your old disscuions that has happened to me before. I just tried yesterday to answer an old post and it did show up.

Well, I think it's a good idea if Mylot deletes the old discussions, from years back, because they are probably tying the up the storage and the servers, and really, unless specifically looking under a certain topic, who would be looking that far back on the pages of people's profiles? I became a member 3 years ago. I never look that far back in my own posts, and it has been about that long since anyone has done any activity on my forums dating that far back.
